Enza's Restaurant is like going to a family restaurant. We go for special occasions and are always treated like family. The owner normally comes to our table and makes suggestions to us and asks if we are happy with our food. The wait staff is very attentive and the food is always delicious. When adding drinks it does get a little pricey but it still is great Italian food with a family type environment - very friendly.

Okay... So I went out to an Italian Restaurant tonight with some friends to celebrate a birthday. I ordered a Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad and I asked for some shrimp in my salad and the waitress said sure no problem. My check comes at the end of dinner and my salad is called something like the shrimp Mediterranean and its 15.95 and their is a charge on there for 6.00 and its called open food. So I figured oh ok well the shrimp must have been 6.00 but I need to say something about the price of my salad because in the menu its listed as 11.95. So I say something to the waitress and she says "let me get my manager" About 10 minutes later this older Italian lady comes walking up to the table and literally says "Is there a problem at this table" We all looked at her like what?? I said well I asked a question about my bill and she was like "whats the problem" She literally had an attitude the moment she walked up. I explained to her the situation and she was like " I don't see the problem here" I said well I'm being charged for something I was unaware of, this check doesn't even say the right meal and its a different price. She then proceeds to talk to the girl who put my check in and shes like "oh well we put it in this way to try and save you money because you ordered shrimp and its 3.00 per piece of shrimp. I said 3.00 per shrimp and there was 6 shrimp??? So you are telling me the shrimp alone cost more than the salad? She said yes and I was like "why is there nothing on your menu stating that or why are your waiters and waitresses not letting people know that the shrimp will cost 18.00 extra? She said "Oh well the type of people we usually serve here would be offended if we did that" Then she starts writing these numbers down on a napkin to try and show me the difference and I said "what are you doing" She says to the waitress "just go redo her check and let her pay more if she wants to, we were trying to be nice" I was like REALLY??? I just said take my money and I left. Oh and his lady was the OWNER of the restaurant mind you... she told me this after a few minutes. I said to her " Its really bad you treat your customers like this because the food was good and I planned on coming back and telling my friends about this place, but not anymore. She rolled her eyes at me, so I'm sure she doesn't care but I have never been so disrespected. You can tell they only care about the money and how high class their customers are, its a shame.

Excelent Italian. As good as in the city. ( Little Italy, New York )
