Absolutely horrible experience. I went in for highlights and left with the bottom of my hair orange in places!The stylist attempted to fix it and made it worse. She obviously does not know what she is doing because her solution was to cut it off!!! She and the owner then proceeded to blame me for her mistake. Thankfully I had someone who could fix it but her mistake cost me $250.

Awesome place. All the massage therapist are wonderful!

I saw this Salon while out walking and went online to read the reviews and decided to try the Salon out for myself. I was so excited to sit down with Beth and go over my expectations on how I wanted my hair to look. I am getting married and needed a professional to work with me. I was very pleased with my hair and the professionalism of the stylist "it is perfect". I will definitely be returning for a facial and manicure/pedicure. If you are tired of the typical strip mall hair cuts I highly recommend the Elite Salon and Day Spa. Very rewarding!

The staff was inspiring and entertaining. I received a gift, took a friend and went here to enjoy a relaxing day and in turn added a few more items. I drive by here all the time and this was my first visit. it is nice to know there are still, personable neighborly establishments that still cater to really, paying attention and focusing on my needs and interests. We had been offered by the hostess, immediately upon our arrival, to get comfortable, with a beverage and a quick tour, in addition to an explanation of our day. ( I was surprising my friend, so she had no idea.) We then were offered separate rooms or joint. It was a weekday, so we were pretty much able to choose which room we wanted, as there were many rooms. we were very pleased and relaxed and made comfortable the entire time. Just simply a delightful day.

The spa is very clean and new. I think the girl that gave Anne Marie, has adorable hair. She has the cleanest newest clothes. Yes, she was chewing gum, for fresh breath since, she had just had lunch. The sheets are always clean and changed immediately after each client. Sometime there may be an oil residue, but we cant just throw new sheets out because of this.The matching pillow case is used on the face cradle for comfort. Never a complaint with this therapist, just compliments. We strive so and work so hard to please our clients. I saw Annes face when , her therapist walked around the corner..it went from smiling to "dropped". Her therapist was African American and female..... not really sure what she was expecting or preferred. We do ask on our policy page to specify if you want male or female gender. We welcome comments and communication, like dimming a light, male preference, but remain an equal opportunity employer. Funny how the 50% off clients, (Anne had a coupon) are the only ones to complain. Cheap, overly critical and complaining. Go figure, I throw my hand up, can't satisfy everyone!

Great day at the Spa



I visited last week to use a gift card I received last week and found this establishment to be quite lovely. I especially enjoyed the massage and facial. And the lunch was superb. I came her for my birthday; definitly one of the best presents I've received. It was simply a great way to relax and enjoy my day. I will definitly be back, as the young woman up at the front desk gave me a $ 20 off card for my next day at the spa. I would highly recommend this establishment.

Back massage from hell, the entire "spa" looks like a mess. The girl that gave me a massage had super dirty clothes on, crazy hair and was chewing gum like a a COW the entire time she was around me. The massage room was dirty and they had a pillow case around the head rest of the massage table where you put your face that did not look washed. The room had a lamp that they do not dim so it was extremely bright the entire time. Once the massage started the girl put her elbow on my spine 3 or 4 times, was burping the entireeeeee time and chewing gum like a COW. Worst experience I have ever had at a salon. I called about 5 time and left messages with different people asking to speak to the manager and no one ever called me back.

I really loved it here. The staff was extremely friendly. I enjoyed the quietness and the decorations. It was definitley thought out. The waiting area was nice with self serve complimentary, cold beverages and a single service coffee machine It was a little difficult to figure out but the cute little receptionist hurried over when she saw me struggle with it. I really liked the variety of coffee flavors and creamers. The biscottis were delicious and the cream cheese danishes we even better. The decor is a European style and was quit clean and simple. The music was nice ans relaxing, as well in both the waiting area and spa rooms. I have been to both locations now. I did like the Avondale a little better, it was more homey, more designed like a house, while the One in baymeadows was in a shopping center. It's the one next to Scan Design in a beautiful stucco type center. The one with the Big Ben type clock! It was cute. I liked the spacious rooms, and I like how hot the shower got. It was a little tricky to figure out, it was a more current type of hardware that you find in upscale hotels ( turning to the full left then back to adjust to your desired warmth.) I really like the pedicurist she was very nice and the owner waited on us hand and foot. Bringing us fresh robes and towels and nice waffle slippers were placed outside the shower area. The towel was served warm straight from the dryer. The reception area had large comfy leather couches and the decor was simple with a touch of orient. and the staff was so helpful in explaining after care instructions for stretching , after my massage and taking care of my hair color. I almost forgot.. they had a sale on their retail products so I stocked up. (that was a t the Avondale store) I enjoyed my lunch also, it was served with a mimosa and she also brought me bottled water. I love chocolate , so I cant leave that out it was Lindort ??sp and Ferro Rocher, truffles..yum! It was just over all good and you just dont find this and reasonable prices. We definitley will be back.

Bought a Groupon and so glad I did! My facial changed my life! Candice gave me the full spa experience! Elite is my new obsession! After my facial and mini massage that is just part of the facial I sat in their cozy parlor area and sipped my wine. I just wanted to linger there. I was we'll taken care of and can't wait to go back as we'll as give the facial experience I had as gifts! 100 stars 2 snaps and a high five Elite! Candice, you are an angel'

I purchased a Living Social massage and found this business, to be one of the best places for a massage. I actually ended up joining a club, that you can still get a hugh discount off the massages and my massage person, was so good, i wanted to get a massage every week! I can afford it now, because they're only $49

I worked here and still am a patron of this cute little spa. I met some new staff members last week , while I was in for a pedicure. I am always so delighted by my visit. One thing, I know is Beth is very articulate about the cleanliness and staying on task. They have a great team and seem to really enjoy their jobs as well. You can just feel it in the air. I was able to finish my nursing degree, while working here and more than ever notice, how sanitary they are. So if you want a place with great prices and cleanliness, this is what I find, here.

My wife and I are renewing our wedding vowels (after 25 years). She asked me to get a hair cut and shave. I agreed for her and mama. I know she likes to see a clean face once in a while. When she made me an appt with her hair dresser. I was not so sure but I went. When I got there I told the lady to make me handsome.(she smiled)

Anyway we got started on my make over. The girls here are awesome they can make anyone feel comfortable(which is a good thing when you are not sure of a beauty salon). The ladies here are a awesome bunch,we were laughing and joking through my whole transformation.I really enjoyed myself. I went for "BUSH MAN" to a "HANDSOME GENTLEMAN". I enjoy seeing my wedding picture hang on the wall!!!!! I'm going to keep my new look=) Thanks ELITE SALON & DAY SPA for the new ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I came to Jax. from Cali. to see my mom and I needed my eyebrows done and I found this cute little place and I love it. My mom is a very picky lady and she loved the salon.. Nice job girls

i went in for a massage and the best part was when she massaged my feet. Im a nurse so after the long hours @ the hospitlal my feet are so sore.. THANKS GIRLS @ ELITE Salon &Day Spa. I love going in here. It is a very nice RELAXING place.....I always look forward to ME time!!! I always get the Queen package and I do feel like a Queen when im done !!! Thanks to all the ladies. I went to Elite Salon and Day Spa on Monday. I had my daughters hair trimmed ,thinned and layered. The girls all made my little girl fill like a princess. One of the girls painted her nails. While the other one got her a drink and a snack. She was so happy when we left !
