- Edgewood Cemetery has been one of Jacksonville, Florida's oldest and most picturesque cemeteries for more than 100 years. Originally a private cemetery, the cemetery was expanded to accommodate all of the families in our region. Over the years, the cemetery has expanded to more than 45 acres with significant room for expansion well into the 21st century. As a relatively new member of the Dignity Memorial® family, Edgewood has seen many improvements since this new association - including a new office facility, a new mausoleum complex and significant improvements in the overall care and maintenance of the cemetery. Families today can rest assured that their loved ones interred at Edgewood will continue to see improvements in overall care and continued beautification for many years to come. The steadfast commitment we have to our families will continue, as well as our ability to offer more affordable alternatives to help families take care of all of their cemetery needs in advance. Thus, helping relieve the often overwhelming financial and emotional burden that occurs following the loss of a loved one. All of our services are designed to help families through one of the most personal and challenging stages of life.
