“I believe how chiropractic can make a difference in your life.” As Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Absolute Injury and Pain Physicians, Dr. Vipul R. Patel is responsible for successfully leading the development and execution of the company’s long term strategy with special focus on patient care. He possesses an exemplary work ethic and an entrepreneurial spirit combined with a compassionate heart and great sense of humor. At the beginning of his journey, Dr. Patel’s planned to attend business school. At the time, he was suffering from severe back pain and some disc issues, which were greatly affecting his daily activities. He knew that people had found relief through chiropractic treatment, but was skeptical about it. Finally, at the advice of a family member, he reluctantly went to see a chiropractor. After only a few visits, Dr. Patel experienced a huge relief of his symptoms—much to his surprise. The result made him truly believe that chiropractic could make a difference in people’s lives. At that moment, he decided to attend chiropractic school. Dr. Patel graduated from Life University in 2001, with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Dr. Patel then worked as an intern with chiropractic physician Dr. Andrew Robert in Jacksonville, FL, where he learned that chiropractic not only provides pain relief, but also prevents future joint issues. When Dr. Robert retired in March 2002, Dr. Patel boldly purchased the clinic. Six months later, he opened his second clinic, and by 2004 had five clinics all over Jacksonville. In 2007, Dr. Patel converted his practices into multidisciplinary offices that now included Physical Medicine, Pain Management, Chiropractic, and Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation. Absolute Injury and Pain Physicians has since expanded to a total of eight multidisciplinary offices in the greater Jacksonville area. Dr. Patel feels very connected to the Jacksonville community and is invested in its growth.
