Dr. Peinado has practiced dentistry for 23 years and specializes in Root Canal Treatment, also known as Endodontics. A native of Brazil, she graduated from the University of Cidade de São Paulo with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Peinado is an Endodontist and Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Florida College of Dentistry Department of Endodontics and is a member of the AAE Foundation Board of Trustees and Chair of the AAE Foundation’s OutReach program that provides Endodontic care to underserved communities. After 14 years in private practice, Dr. Peinado relocated to the US and and continued her education focusing on Endodontics and Apical Surgeries. Dr. Peinado completed a fellowship at the University of Florida College of Dentistry Department of Endodontics and residency at the Albert Einstein Medical Center IB Bender Division of Endodontics. Being a hospital based program Dr. Peinado routinely saw trauma cases coming from the ER, mostly in children (Pediatric), and trauma cases are now an area of focus for her practice. After graduation, Dr. Peinado relocated to Chicago, IL and joined a prestigious private practice dedicated to Endodontics. Missing the warm weather, Dr. Peinado and her husband decided to return to his home town of Jacksonville, FL and bring a concept to dentistry where comfort goes hand in hand with superior care. Dr. Peinado set out to create a spa-like environment to compliment her soft and gentle demeanor and approach to dental care. The end result is remarkable and you will feel at ease upon entering. The clinical areas include the latest advances in technology including Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT), digital x-ray and microscopes to develop a treatment plan and address your individual needs.
