Found myself in a real jam when the one spring broke . Called a few of the companies offering service - but no one could give a solid quote and prices varied from 215$ to 300$ dollars. Dave brings a wealth of knowledge which he is eager to share - and as a homeowner - I had quite a few questions. It was a real pleasant experience - a real professional. Not sure what happened in the other reviews - I mean this guy was as honest as they come.

Dave came to repair my Garage door today, a broken spring was the culprit. He was honest, fair and personable (and showed up 5 minutes early!!). I did my spring repair research on the web prior to deciding and only needed to make one call. Dave’s straightforward, "no bull", approach to his work and his website made my choice easy. Who else, in this business, puts their prices on their web site for everyone to see? Our garage door is opened and closed more, times in a day, than our front door, so his use of 25,000 cycle springs was important to me. I spent the hour he was here talking with him and watching him work. He lubed the rollers/track, inspected all of the moving parts, reinforced the door opener mount on the door, moved a support beam back in to place, adjusted the down force of the door opener and adjusted the closed position of the door. I can honestly say he believes in taking care of his customers, with a fair price and quality work.

Wow so david attempted to fix my garage door because it wouldnt open. They "fixed" it and then gave me the bill which turned out to be "slightly larger" than their estimate. THEN 12 days later my garage door breaks again. Of course they say they will come see what they did wrong free of charge. OH WAIT, they find a new problem and the replacement piece will cost me more than the entire original bill. horrible job. if you want to WASTE your money then just throw it in the trash OR call david vogel for help. poor job.

The spring that helps the garage door open and close broke over the weekend. We're thankful that our cars were not in the garage when it happened. It was nearly impossible to open the door with the broken spring. I, like most people went on-line to see what it would cost to replace the spring and I saw prices that ranged from $100 - $200. I started calling companies to get quotes Monday morning and David was the first to answer my call. He explaind what I could expect as far as replacing the spring (10,000 vs 25,000 cycle springs). He didn't have the parts he needed to replace the single spring and offered to install a double spring system to prevent a delay in installation and he honored the price we originally negotiated. David even adjusted the sensors, inspected our garage door opener, and lubed the system to make it run with less noise. I would recomend David Vogel to anyone in need of the services that he offers!
