The CRC Institute provides solar PV/thermal and green construction training and certification, as well as contractor licensing exam preparation classes.

The CRC Institute emphasizes student learning, high quality teaching and career development. Two certificate programs are offered and taught by full and part-time faculty who have the minimum of a bachelors degree in their fields and enhance their teaching with industry expertise.

These extensive 200-hour programs engage students in all areas of study, including theory, hands-on training, safety, professional development, customer service, sales and marketing, design and installation. We pride ourselves on producing well-rounded graduates that can immediately add value to their new employers' businesses far beyond that of traditional construction workers.

The Contractor Exam Preparation Workshops will prepare students to sit for the following Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation Construction Licensing Board exams:  Certified General Contractor, Certified Building Contractor, Certified Residential Building Contractor, Certified Roofing Contractor and Certified Underground Utility and Excavation Contractor. These week-long courses will include instruction on business and finance requirements, code compliance, construction techniques, safety/OSHA guidelines, contracts and contract administration.
