Horrible company to work with.from the day I ordered the sod until after i laid the sod. Firs told free delivery with 4 or more pallets. I ordered 6. Now i had to pay them $20 per pallet to unload them at my hose. WTH okay get it all down and startvto see weeds, bugs, and fungus. Went back and told them and got the old well our sod is free of all that and refused to anything. So if you want weeds ,bugs, and fungus then buy your sod from Classic Turf

You decide if you want to use these guys. I need 5-6 more pallets but never from these guys again. had two pallets delivered this morning, both mostly dry. The delivery guy promised the top two layers may be a little dry but the whole pallet was like that. May be they had it sitting some place at least for a week. My lawn guy was surprised they would do something like that.

We had sod delivered! It looked great! They couldn't give us a delivery time but it was delivered early and looks beautiful!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! IF YOU CAN.. FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO PURCHASE SOD. CALLED AND WAS QUOTED A PRICE... 3 DAYS LATER CALLED TO ORDER AND PRICE WENT UP $50.00. THEY WOULDNT PRICE MATCH BECAUSE IT WASNT A WRITTEN ESTIMATE. THE DAY MY SOD WAS DELIVERED, THE PRICE WENT BACK DOWN TO WHAT I WAS ORIGINALLY QUOTED. CALLED TO ORDER ANOTHER PALLET AND ASKED IF I COULD GET A CREDIT. ANSWER FROM THE "MANAGER" WAS A STRAIGHT "NO". ASKED IF I COULD ATLEAST GET A FREE DELIEVERY SINCE I ORDERED 5 PALLETS. QUICK ANSWER AGAIN "NO". I ASKED WHY, HE SAID HE HAD NO POWER TO DO THAT. OBVIOUSLY THE $25.00 ISNT GOING TO MAKE OR BREAK ME BUT COME ON, GIVE THE CUSTOMER A BREAK. I TOLD HIM I WAS GOING TO SOD MY FRONT YARD NEXT MONTH AND ORDER ANOTHER 4,000 SQ FT OF SOD, HE DIDNT CARE. THEY ARE THE WORST PEOPLE EVER TO DEAL WITH! THEY DONT GIVE A CRAP ABOUT THE CUSTOMER. SAYS A LOT ABOUT THEIR CORPORATE OFFICE. OBVIOUSLY THAT IS THE MISSION STATEMENT SENT DOWN FROM THE CEO. "CLASSIC TURF... WE SELL SOD AND DONT GIVE A CRAP ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE" WHERE THE HECK DID THEIR CEO COME FROM... ENRON??

i did a lot of research on companies that both sell sod and lay sod, including prepping the area to be refilled. Classic had the best prices and had very prompt delivery INCLUDED! the staff over the phone at Classic Turf was VERY knowledgeable and recommended the best type of sod for us (Flori-tam, St Augustine grass since the areas to be replaced would be in 95-100% direct sunlight during the daytime). Ultimately, we decided after many quotes from landscaping companies to do the laying and prepping of the sod/areas ourselves.



we wound up ordering 6 pallets of sod to cover 3,000 square feet of our 1.1 acre home lot. it's now been a month and a half, and the sod we laid down from our Classic Turf purchase looks WAY BETTER than our original St Augustine grass!!



i'm considering replacing additional areas of our old grass with more Classic Turf grass. 1-2 pallets more should do it. i would recommend this company to anyone and everyone i know!

Our company has bought locally for years. We have been forced to pay high prices for sod for years. Thank god a company has come to town that charges a decent price for sod. Our company bought from a local company and the sod died and they would not replace the sod at all. We then ordered from Classic Turf on Philips Hwy and got the same number of pallets and the sod went further and at a lower price. This leads me to believe someone was selling sod that was not full 500' pallets! The sod from Classic Turf is now green and plush, my customer is very happy. I will keep going to the best sod company in Jacksonville! Classic Turf. 904-886-3380 they willl be glad to help you!!!

I ordered five pallets of sod from Classic Turf. I had to replace the stuff I'd ordered from another company in the spring, which died. The Classic Turf pallets were really 500 square feet, just like they promised. The garbage I bought in the spring, (at double the price!!), didn't cover 500 square feet like the other company had told me.

The sod I received from Classic Turf was beautiful, with a thick black dirt bottom. It's been down for about a month and a half now and is doing very well. The driver that brought the sod to me was very prompt and courteous. He called me when he was on the way to my home and placed the sod exactly where I asked him to.

I don't know why anyone would go anywhere else and buy sod when Classic Turf sells very nice stuff at such a low cost. I've recommended them to several of my friends, who had very similar, excellent experiences.

COMPLETE WASTE OF 100 BUCKS!!!!!!

When I ordered the sod, we even talked about how I re-sodded my lawn about 3 years ago and ordered 10 pallets from one of their competitors and that I really should have told them to replace 2 of the pallets because they were yellow! Well..I had some damage this year and I figured I would need about 3/4 of a pallet and could certainly find a home for the rest.......ANYWAY, when it came it looked pretty good from the outside( I guess there is only me to blame because I didn't make the driver wait while I broke the pallet down and inspected the product)but as I got to the 5th and 6th layer it was apparent that this pallet was probably the one they forgot about for 2 - 3 weeks. Leaves were yellow...WAY too much thatch and there was alot of, what I call, mush! I do not know the technical term, I guess it's "rot"!! Even my neighbor who was gonna take some from me to do a little spot treatment said he would just go to Ace and buy about 2 dozen pieces. My other neighbor said "let me know where you got that so I don't go there!!!!"

Nice people....Crappy sod!! As it goes....you get what you pay for :(
