0 stars isn't an option. BUYER BEWARE THIS IS A SCAM!



My husband and I went into the store on June 10th, found a chair for him, agreed upon a price and paid for said chair. We were told the chair would be in within 4-6 weeks- we begged them to just sell us the floor model so that we could take it home, we were told no they don't do that. They would bundle it and sell it with the couch and they couldn't do that if they sold the chair separate, we'd have to wait for it to arrive from the factory warehouse.



5 weeks go by- we finally get a call- we can't get your chair- just come on down and we'll switch it out for another chair on the showroom floor, manager has already approved it (no mention that it needs to be the same or lower price or anything). My husband goes down, picks another chair and is told- you can only have that chair if you pay us ANOTHER 200$. Husband says no- he'll take a refund- except they can't find the original receipt with the CC # and we used my card, so he can't get the refund right there. They tell him he can call and get the refund when they have the cc#. He gets home and calls- no answer.



I return the following day determined to get my husband's chair. Explain the situation to the manager- who takes me to a chair LITERALLY marked 50$ less than I already paid and tells me- "This one is comparable". To which I replied- it's also ticketed less, and you are negotiating with people off the ticket, we're looking at at least 100$ difference from what I paid and what that chair will actually go for (and my husband didn't like it when he looked at it yesterday).



I explain again I want the chair my husband picked out- it might be ticketed more, but we were told to come in and pick a chair and they would switch it out.



He then informs me the manufacturer has gone out of business and is bankruptcy- they filed on June 28th. Which means that from June 10th to June 28th- my chair WAS NEVER ORDERED! Where was my money sitting for over 2 weeks?



So after 5 weeks of having my money tied up with this company (and missing 2 other clearance sales because of it) we have NO CHAIR. They did give us our money back, but I have yet to see it clear my card, so I'm still doubtful.



DO NOT BUY HERE IT'S A SCAM- if they don't flat out take your money- they will hold it until they see fit.

Unethical business practices...

Labor day weekend 2012, I purchased furniture from Thomasville Furniture aka Classic Home Brands off of Phillips in jax. Salesperson "Kaye" told me furniture would be in end of oct.

oct. came and went heard nothing from anyone from this company. That is when I asked to speak with manger "Diana"...please know it was not easy getting her on the phone... Forget about anyone from this company returning your call.

She informs me table is in warehouse... Ready to ship. Delivery three weeks. Same thing...that time comes and goes no contact from anyone, just told more lies and given run around.



Almost four months has gone by... I am out a good bit of money, and have an empty dining room. Stay away from this company. Do not be fooled that they are a Thomasville store.... They are not.



Very sad that they are allowed to conduct business this way. Filed a complaint with the BBB, they did not respond... Because they have sooooo many complaints against them. Resoloution is not something they take part in.

Zero customer service, and they have my money and refuse to give it back. They will though.
