I’ve never had a better experience. Fatu was my braided and my hair looks phenomenal! She catered to my vision and my hair style turned out amazing. Ive received nothing but compliments on how neat my braids are. Thank you again for the great service!

Not worth the close to $200 paid. My hair didn't last a month. They switch from head to head as people come in. Specifically asked for two raiders and only one worked on my hair so quickly that it is already coming out and looking frizzy. Extremely disappointing and will not return.

This is the WORSE place to ever get your hair braided!!!!! THE ABSOLUTE WORSE. I only get my hair braided by Africans & this salon was horrible. I got there at 10 am & left at 9pm! For senseglade twists! They would stop & work on others and come back to me. I had 2 people for all of 10 minutes then 3 people for all of 5 minutes then 1 person. They don't talk to you but to each other in their native language. It's a rude salon, they don't speak to you they just take their time & stop on your hair to work on someone else's hair. They have no time management! DONT EVER GO HERE!!! EVER! My money was not well spent, I will never make this mistake ever again in life. Your better off using someone else!

Love my hair, but it truly was not worth it, the service was HORRIBLE.I called and requested a quote for senegalese twist and was told bra strap length was 180.00, I was also told that I would have 2 people working on my hair.The day of my appt I arrived, they were late opening the shop, once she saw my hair, i was told bra strap length was 200.00!! I agreed none the less because I thought I would at least have 2 people working on my head...LIES!!!! I sat there for 20 min waiting and when the girl finally started my hair, she was the only one doing it for the first 1 and a half! Then the second girl comes braided a portion of the front of my hair and then left for 3 hours!!!! When she finally came back, she took another customer, which she honestly did a really poor job giving this little girl 2 big conrows...but then she finally finished and came back to my head. An hour into it she stops again to eat, while she was doing my hair..SMH....10 hours later!!! yes 10 HOURS 9 am to 7pm, she finally fnished. The stickers on the door state they take Visa, Mastercard etc, but they take only cash, which they dont tell you and ask you to run to CVS to get cash..I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN..and I STRONGLY suggest no one esle does either!

I had my twist done for$180 it was very. Long. Omg they are. Bomb. I love. My. Twist.

Cheri. Is the best braider. In Jacksonville it took 4hours when i got my braids. I was very. Happy when i was done. Thank u guys

I called a week and a half in advance to get flat regal twist put in my hair. Cheri told me she could do it for a certain price. I get there and she tells me she doesn't know how to do the style I want (twist up into a simple ponytail), but she says that she could cornrows it into a ponytail with twist at the end. I was willing to settle for that, but then she wanted to charge me an additional $40. She tried to bait an switch me. Well I left and called my hair dresser and she flat ironed my hair because I needed a relaxer two weeks ago, but couldn't get one because I washed my hair the night before in preparation for some flat twist.

I had a HORRIBLE experience here. I had an 8am appointment and they were an hour late. I was told over the phone that my hair would be $150 or $180 but then when I arrived it turned into $200 because they claimed my hair was too short. Also, I asked if I could use my card when I called and they said yes but when I arrived I needed cash all of a sudden. Needless to say I left without even getting my hair done. After driving 1.5 hours to get my hair done I was extremely disappointed.

It took 13 hours to get my twist done. Cheri said she was on her way and almost a hour late! She did my twist bigger n now they are coming out! I have called the shop a week now n amazing she's not there to fix them! She is more worried about making a dollar than customer service. There's a shop on the west side of Jax she very good please support her! Cheri will no longer get my business! I will also post on my Facebook page! Bad service n greedy people!!!

Stay away from these braiders. There were three braiders there when I came in for my appointment. They were all upset to see my natural hair...I had to stop them from trying to blowdry my non wet hair straight! They do not respect natural hair!! They are lazy and Shanae needs anger management classes. They tore out about two inches of my hair!! These are not my first braids, I have three girls and four sisters who all get their hair braided...this is the worst experience to date! If you value what hair you have, find another place to get your hair done!! Not worth the time, money, or hair loss!!

I had micro ( free style) braids done here. Within a week the braids were taking my hair out. When I went back for them to take my hair down, they cut off at least two inches of my real hair. I called and let them know and received nothing but attitude and denial from Cheri. It takes my hair a long time to grow and it is a huge problem when a shop cannot tell the difference between weave and your hair. Never again.

My experience was not the best starting out nor ending. When I came to the shop, the braider was very lazy and consistently shuffled her feet while preparing my hair. Mind you when I came into the shop, she was openly sleeping in one of the front chairs. It took her 45 minutes to start on my hair. Ten hours later, my hair was finished and I loved it! However less than a week later my hair started slipping out. I called Cheri and she agreed to allow me to come back in the following week and have it redone. I really appreciated her understanding. However, my hair was still following out and then I started noticing my actual hair was being pulled out with the braids along my edges. I was terrified and I called her back telling her what happened. I wanted my money back. Not only were my braids falling out...so was my hair! As a business owner she refused to give me my money back and said she would fix my hair. Unfortunately, you can not fix braids with no hair. After a back and forth conversation, she refused to even give me a portion of my money back or even a discount for a next service and I decided to take my losses and not recommend her to anyone else. While I was in the shop, I did see hair done very beautifully. I am not condemning her shop but my experience their was not satisfactory for the money I paid. Some good things were that, she constantly had people working on my head...even though it was 10 hours and I was getting kinky twists. Cheri did interact with her customers. Most African braiding shops I go to, you are herded in and out. But, I feel as though she genuinely tried to form a relationship and want you to come back to her shop. The bad unfortunately outweighs the good in this experience. I was really looking forward to rockin my kinky twists for the summer.

they do a great job, very fast i will say they are one of the best braiders in jacksonville. i left there satisfied.
