Gifts to Loved ones NOT ALLOWED

We lost our Mother in 2003, we went with our Father to make the final arrangements he found that the tree which shaded the plot they had chosen(and was the reason the plot had been chosen) had been removed, which caused additional upset to an already upsetting day. It turned in to a strickly CASH business transaction and nothing would be done until my Dad wrote a considerable check and they had already paid for the plot years before. Yet another blow, for nearly 4 years our family has taken flowers and small gifts of affection and put them on Mom's stone and immediately in front of it. Since this is a joint plot and we are fortunate to have our Father still with us we also place items on his portion of the stone. This is a practice all over the cemetary. Today we received a shock when we found that all of the heart felt items left on all of the sites of loved ones had been removed and packuped by the cemetary and we were told that only the approved vase would be allowed. Extra flowers would only be allowed on Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter and they will be removed after 30 days. The flowers placed on the day of the funeral would be removed after 4 days. You pay dearly for this not only monitarily but especially in the pain of loosing a Loved One. So if you unfortunately loose a Loved Ones and have to make the arrangements or are prearranging please question as to the practice of your chosen cemetary and avoid this cemetary.
