I was able to witness the service of Sarah L. Carter's Funeral Home at my great aunts funeral a few years ago. I was HIGHLY impressed with her compassion and attention to detail. I never imagined that I would need her services after I suffered the loss of my only child. From my first conversation with Ms. Carter I was covered with a sense of peace. Not only was she compassionate and caring she made the grieving process bearable. I could not have asked for better service and attention. My child was so beautiful and looked like a precious angel. The staff and attendants of Sarah L. Carter's Funeral Home were professional and precise. In this day and time when many people lack compassion and are looking at the bottom line Ms. Carter and staff stand out because they show they care. Truly Service From The Heart!

After the loss of my father my mother was given the name Sarah Carter. For years our family remained loyal to another local mortuary. I didn't think it was the right time for us to be experimenting. After meeting Ms. Carter and experiencing her spirituality, compassion, and extensive knowledge of the funeral industry my family could not have been more pleased. My father looked as if he were sleeping and his attire was immaculate. I did not find the tears of grief on my face that I thought I would have just a few tears of joy and pride. Pride because as I looked around at all the beautifully arranged flowers, the customized casket, and the family pictures, "I thought, wow this is so wonderful." We would never have thought of all this by ourselves had it not been for Ms. Carter. The service was a perfect tribute to my father's life and I will forever be grateful to Ms. Carter and her staff.
