This is very unsanitary.. ask too look where the dogs go gross. Will not leave my dogs here. Very unclean place

We have a 3 year old shih tzu and Carens is the only grooming shop he has ever been to. We took him there on the recommendation of a friend and have not regretted it. We started taking him when he was about 12 weeks old when he needed barely a trim and conitnue to take him now to keep him trimmed down. We have never had a problem and are very happy with the service we get. We always use the same groomer, Noreen. She is an angel with our Lance and he just loves her. She does a great job which I know is difficult considering he hates baths. As a matter of fact we bought a house out by the airport almost a year ago and we continue to drive to westside to Carens just so he can see Noreen to get groomed. We wouldn't/ couldn't ever consider changing his groomer. Those that have negative experiences there maybe have more diffficult pets or pets that are in horrible condition or pets that already had health problems and just don't know about it or don't want to admit to it. Perhaps if your having so many problems you should look to your pet or to yourself before you go bashing a place of business that has been around for many many years that continues to thrive and grow constantly. Or maybe you just have bad luck, who knows ..but Carens is not a horrible place like some people are trying to make it out to be. The owner is a wonderful person who truly cares about pets and only hires the same quality of people.

Sorry , I was not very happy. I tried Caren's twice and they forgot to put her Advantage on and the lady acted like it was my fault. I also noticed a groomer twisting and looking over his shoulder at me, like he was doing something wrong . So i watched closer and he was shuving this lil' puppy around as he was trimming her and I felt so bad when I left there. No wonder I had to drag my dog through the door. Im sorry iwont be coming back. I gave 2 stars because I do like the owner, he made things right, in the incident with Advantage.

I love Caren's they get the job done right the first time around they care about your animal and I wouldn't ever take my dogs anywhere else keep doing the best job ever.

I have two dogs and have been taking them both to Caren's for about 3 years. I have never had a bad cut. I get excellent service, good rates and my dogs are happy when we get there and happy when we leave.

I have to say that if someone is in the pet grooming business then they should be aware of how to deal with dogs that may snip at them. Instead they butcher the hair cut and say they did what they could do. I would have just been happier if they said they could not groom my dog's hair.



Never going to be using them again and would never recommend them.
