I came in, no appointment, needed tire patched was in and out with in an hour. Employees are always very courteous and professional.

I must say this is my go to for tire work and oil changes.The service and interaction is great.They make you feel like family and can be trusted to be honest about what your vehicle needs.The wait time is minimum and the area to wait in is always clean including the bathroom,just a all around good experience everytime I've been there and getting the car worked on for any reason is a bum day for me but not here.Yall go see for yourself ,I know you'll have nothing but good things to say.Be blessed and stay safe

This place takes care of you. They are very speedy so no long waiting time. The prices are reasonable compared to other tire shops. That’s why I’m a loyal customer they don’t try to gouge you!!!!! And ladies they don’t sell you crap you don’t need to bring in more money. They are honest! I will go no where else!

The Service Manager Robert is on top of everything going on in the shop and keeps things moving so that you are in and out as fast as possible. The office staff was very friendly and professional. Overall it was an outstanding service experience.

I usually get good service from Big Chief. I need to talk about the one off Blanding did a great job identifying a knocking sound on my car by resolving it without no cost.

I bought 2 tires from Big Chief Tire on Normandy Blvd.. One of the tires had a tread separation and I returned the tire to BCT for an adjustment. Big Chief said the tire was nearly worn out even though the wear bars on the tire had not yet received any wear. BCT did not measure the remaining tread, but simply made a visual estimate, as though he could tell the difference between 5/64 and 3/64 of an inch just by looking. I felt the tire had nearly 50% of the tread left, however, the tread was not measured. I paid more than $100 for the tire I felt the adjustment should be about $50. Big Chief made a point of telling me that there was more than 50,000 miles on the tire, but tire wear is not measured by mileage but by the amount of tread that was worn off. I was allowed only $15 for the remaining tread and Big Chief acted as though he was doing me a big favor by allowing that much. I am very disappointed with the adjustment and I feel that I was cheated or at least treated unfairly.

I have done a lot of business with BCT. I few months ago they put on a set of Pirelli P4s. The tires and service at the Blanding store is fine. I have no problem with them. However, the Normandy store is another story. I went in to have my car aligned. The sales guy come back a few minutes later and tells me I need ball joints. When I balked at the news, he asked me to come out to the service bay and look for myself. I did and he couldn't prove that I needed them. I mean they were solid as a rock. Nevertheless, he entered into the computer that I needed ball joints and that I declined and he declined to do the alignment. I have never been back to that store nor will I go back again. The very last set of tires I got on my wife's car were the same tires I bought at BCT the P4s. I bought hers at Discount Tire. After having both cars back for rotation and balance I can say without a doubt that Discount Tire balances the tire close to perfect. There is a little vibration on the road with my car.

I have always gone to Big Chief, only because my dad worked there when I was a child. However, when I moved to Keystone Heights, we did not have a Big Chief, so I used another company. Bad idea. I will drive back to Jacksonville whenever I need tires from now on. Their service, selection, price and promptness are always fantastic and I have never had a problem.
