A er Dr Steven B. Kailes treated me for a cold i never had. I went to Baptist South E.R. With A Major spinal cord injury..My hands were numb,I couldn't walk and this dr. ignored what the paramedics brought me in for. He sent me home in a cab where i of course fell again and did more damage to me..I'm waiting to get get strong enough for emergency surgery which Dr. Kailes delayed through his neglagence. Pray for me. And pray that Dr. Kailes looses his medical license as he will do permanent harm to others as he has done to me

I went to surgery on with two doctors on Dec. 23, 2014. I was promised a room for the outpatient surgery overnight, my discharge nurse was rushing me out of the room as soon as I came out of recovery. She didn't smile much and yank my IV out of my wrist. Let's just say I thought highly of this hospital until Nurse Ratchet came in. I left early, out of disgust! :-(

I did a simple Ultrasound at the facility. At time of service, I was told to pay $76 something and that is all the charge. Later, it billed me $60 for some doctor to read it and tell me everything is OK. Then, Baptist Medical Center South wanted to charge me $1100 for the procedure. They called me and threat me to pay for the difference. The other center quoted me $120 everything for the procedure before I went to Baptist Medical Center South. Baptist Medical Center South thought the customers are all idiots and would pay 9 times more of the same procedure. Baptist Medical Center South is the place to scam insurance/customers. They do not care about your health, all they care is the money.

For any parent nervous about taking their child to an emergency room, this hospital is for you. When I had to take my two year old daughter to the ER for a broken wrist, the ER doctor, Dr. Hunter, was fabolous! She took great care of my little girl and even brought us to ease with her sweet smile and her laughter while she was telling us about her little girl. I am so thankful that she was working this particular night. She was heaven sent. The nurses and the front staff were very speedy and nice and helpful as well. I recommend this hospital to anyone with any need.
