I just wanted to thank all the caring people at Ark Animal Hospital. I take care of several feral cat colonies and Dr. Maxwell has treated them over the years. The last group had a bad upper respiratory problem and she donated medication for the cats. After a week of this treatment all of the cats got better. Thanks again for your generosity.

I took my 17 year old dog in for a check up and Dr. Maxwell explained all of the health issues but also that he needed his teeth cleaned. I was scared be cause of the age but she explained all of the precautions they would take. I did have the dental cleaning done and WOW what a difference in my dogs breath and I think he is acting more like a puppy. I am greatful for all of there help and all the care they took with my baby.

I recently moved to the area and Ark Animal Hospital is the closest vet to my house.



My experience from walking in and being greeted by name, even though the receptionist has not seen me before was a great feeling. Since I moved here from out of state, I brought my pets records and was informed my pet did not require any vaccines at this time.



I did want to meet the vet and have my pet meet the staff and doctors at this hospital.



Overall it was a wonderful experience. I could see the doctor's were very busy with clients and patients; however Dr. Maxwell took the time to introduce herself and I was given a tour of the facility by a technician. It is a great feeling that I was given the consideration of the time from the doctor and a staff member to greet me as a long time client.



I will certainly be very comfortable leaving my pets care in their capable hands.

Anyone who feels that veterinarians are in this medical field to make money are obviously not very well read.



Veterinary medicine is so underpriced based on what services are provided you would be astounded at what should be charged. People do not think twice about what a medical doctor charges you for an exam and or an office visit; much less any lab work, x-rays, etc.



I have been a client of Ark for 3 years and have only experienced wonderful, over the top care for my animals.

Dr. Maxwell has always been very clear with the procedures and the associated fees. Anything she decides to do is solely based on the best care for my animal, not a dollar value at the end of the day.

I have been taking my animals to Ark since the day it open. Dr. Maxwell is an extremely compassionate doctor.

She also sedates my one particular animal for routine vaccinations and exams. It relieves any anxiety for the pet during a physical exam. I would not want anything to be missed on an exam because my dog was to nervous to allow Dr. Maxwell to do a complete exam.



Anyone who feels there dog is better off being anxious and frightened because they do not want to spend the very few extra dollars for sedation should not own animals. If you cannot afford them, do not have them.

Dr. Maxwell is bad vet. We used to take our dog to Ark with Dr. Maxwell, until the day they sedated her to simply give a routine shot. She never had a problem before, and had been a patient for a long time. Suddenly it became their "policy" to sedate, costing me A LOT of extra money. Upon returning home, my dog was lethargic with freezing cold legs all night. It was terrible. In speaking with an acquaintance about Ark, she told me they boarded their pets and were charged a sedation fee so that their dogs could be vaccinated. Her husband refused to pay it since they were not informed their little poodles would need to be sedated just for a shot.



Maxwell is a heartless quack who's only in it for the money. I hope these poor people get their dog back. SHAME ON YOU ANNA MAXWELL. I hope everyone will take their pets elsewhere for care and put her out of business.

If you Love your Animal please take to another facilty, do the research on Ark Animal in Jacksonville and decide for yourself, however to be forwarned is to be forarmed GREED is a terrible thing when it manafest, and it runs rampant at Ark Animal clinic here in Jacksonville florida on phillips highway. NO PAYNO PET regardless of why. customer beware!

TERRIBLY EXPENSIVE...NO COMPASSION FOR PETS....UNWILLING TO ACCEPT PARTIAL PAYMENTS AND WILL HOLD YOUR ANIMAL UNTIL YOU PAY IN FULL. AGAIN, FIND SOMEONE ELSE FOR YOUR PET CARE NEEDS!!!
