After visiting all the stores offering granite & marble stone countertops in Jacksonville, we settled upon Mediterranean Designs based on the amazing unique and exotic offerings in stone, brilliant design advice and professional service. Donna Fava, the owner, helped me find wonderful choices that fit within my budget, but gave me the look of the stone I could not afford. They have an amazing team of Italians who love and live life to its fullest. They work hard, play hard and I admire the business that these people have built.

I have worked with Mediterranean Designs on several houses now. I always look forward to it! They have an amazing amount of beautiful options from which to choose. They were fantastic during the COVID shutdown and held my material during all of the ensuing renno delays. When I called them to explain, they said "Don't worry. Just keep us posted and call us when you are ready." I was so grateful!

I live in Georgia and was about to embark on a very wonderful experience in Florida at my summer condo. I needed a total kitchen makeover with countertops and bathroom countertops, which was to be a long term investment. You don't generally change out the countertops for a long time. I knew I needed help in finding the right company to do the work. I found that in Mediterranean Designs! First of all the selection is unsurpassed by any I have ever seen! I spent hours just gazing at nature at its finest. And the staff was able to answer all my questions and before I left I was on the books to get my job started. I have over the years completed such endeavors, but this is the first time I knew from the very start it was going to end very well. After walking in and seeing the completed countertops the smile on my face was obvious. No surprises, no problems, nothing but success. I started out looking over the many companies that supply and install stone, etc. and Angie's List sealed the deal. I knew what number I was calling and then I drove down to Jacksonville Beach and the rest is history. I would encourage everyone to make sure they put Mediterranean Designs at the top of their list. I didn't have to waste time driving and looking, the reviews did that for me. Thanks again for making it happen!

My husband and I were looking to update both bathrooms and our kitchen. We decided to pick out the stone first as a starting point to make all other decisions for the renovation project.
After over two years of looking at various businesses which carried stone, nothing seemed to catch our eye. We then went to Mediterranean Designs where we discovered one stone one as beautiful as the next. If fact, it was hard for us to decide which one we like the best.
I can't say enough about the owners, Donna and Giorgio, and staff which led to a pleasant experience. Donna sat down with us on several occasions to help with the designs and selection of stones. We found everyone to be most helpful and friendly. I walked away thinking that they took a genuine interest in our project.
Being both importers and fabricators, their skill and artistry, quality of the stone, and depth of knowledge led us to a very enjoyable experience.
To this day, I enjoy looking at their stone. It is like looking at nature's artwork, simply dynamic.

Every time I remodel, I shop for the perfect material. It never fails, I visit all the local stone suppliers looking for the perfect material and find it at Mediterranean Designs! Mediterranean Designs offers an incredible selection for floors, walls and counters. If you can't find it here, you can't find it! They do it all, buy, fabricate and install. Really, you can't go wrong!

Mediterranean Designs provided all the stone for our new home in Florida. Inside, we purchased a beautiful marble for our kitchen and several pieces of granite, travertine, and onyx for our bathroom counter tops and summer lanai. Because Mediterranean Designs is both an importer and fabricator, you get not only an unbelievable selection of stone to choose from but the prices can't be beat! And, to think I almost went with a Ceasarstone or Silostone in my bathrooms whereas Mediterranean Designs can provide remnant sizes at better prices! It really helps to go to a place that does both - import and fabricate. Walking in their showroom is like walking through an art gallery - each stone is more magnificent than the one before. Donna (the owner) and AB (her right-hand assistant) were also amazingly helpful in guiding you through the process especially as I was moving from out of state. Since I have moved here, I get constant comments about how beautiful and unique each stone is. And, no one leaves the kitchen without commenting on our supersized island of the Manhattan Classic Marble. It is simply breathtaking. I always wanted marble, too, but people tried to shy me away saying it was difficult to keep clean. Donna encouraged me to go with it saying there is a special process applied that helps protect the surface. She was right. It is easy to clean and I am a messy cook! Don't look elsewhere. As soon as you walk in their showroom, you will be hard pressed to leave without falling in love with one of their amazing pieces of stone! And the people couldn't be nicer and more responsive and accommodating.

I recently did a major kitchen renovation. Finding the perfect marble wasn't easy. I called everywhere including Miami, Orlando and Atlanta. The staff at Mediterranean Designs, right here in Jacksonville, was incredibly patient and helpful. Ultimately, they provided a truly spectacular marble for my countertops and did an exquisite job with the fabrication. They not only had the best selection locally, but also worked with me to give me the best price.

I'm extremely pleased and am now working with them on a granite countertop for my laundry room.

My wife and I recently installed granite countertops and put artistic stone in our sunroom. We really like to research who is the best contractor for our home, and we did the usual due diligence on these projects.

The staff was very patient with us in the selection process and we found the best looking stone and granite of all the 5 other places we looked.

The onsite layout work and installation was the most professional we have ever seen, and we truly love the way Mediterranean Designs enhanced our home. These folks are true craftspeople, and we get rave reviews from our friends and neighbors.

First and foremost, we could not be happier with our Mediterranean Designs installations, which included 3 bath vanities and a bar. From the owners to the craftsmen who measure, cut, polish and install the stone and the friendly lady who handles the phone and business office -- each was dedicated to ensuring that our expectations were exceeded. That is a rare and wonderful experience these days.



They have a ton of options on hand and there was no rush as we surveyed the incredible stone slabs, one beautiful piece after another. We never felt we were being steered -- but every question was answered and explanations were complete and easy to understand. They even helped us find reminents that saved money while totally meeting our needs.



The crew that did the measuring was amazing in attention to detail. They too took the time to explain exactly what they were doing. We used three varieties of granite in four areas; in each, they matched the grain/pattern in the stone so that the back-splashes appeared to be seamless. Amazing. They took great care with placing the fawcets/etc, even taking into consideration the size of our hands. The unique method they used for cutting the opening for the under-mounted sinks took further advantage of the stone with beautiful effect.



These folks know what they're doing and they love doing it -- all are experienced pros. The owners actually go to the quarries in Italy and elsewhere to select what they have in their stone yeard. Their passion is your guarantee of statisfaction; they won't be happy unless you are happy. And -- no small thing -- they're nice people

We are new to this area and didn't know what to expect when we wanted to redo our kitchen. Mediterranean Designs was recommended and we will be forever grateful for that recommendation! It is a family owned business and they take great pride in everything they do. They could not be more helpful or more patient in dealing with people who keep changing their minds. The selection of marble, granite, onyx etc. is beyond belief. And once you have selected your granite, the fun begins. They work to insure that the pieces forming your counter etc. all flow perfectly. The entire team from the folks who tear our the old counters to the artisans who install the new are a delight to work with. I recommend Mediterranean Designs to anyone interested in quality work and at a fair price.
