Had a early apt and walked into an overcrowded uncomfortable small waiting room Office staff were like zombies and told me I didnt have a co-pay which I knew was incorrect during the wait I did have a few x rays which took a whole 15 mn then back to the waiting rm. the Dr. spent 20 min in the exam and billed me 210.00!! when I asked why do I wait to see him for such a long time for him he mumbled something then replied "never mind" all honest reviews should be taken in consideration before making an apt unprofessional staff and dozey. dr was rude waiting time is ridiculous. overly expensive. Anyone who attacks the low reviews must have never had an experience with a professional clinic with good drs. I offered to make my co pay the day of the visit which the secretary insisted I didnt have one?.Just received my bill in the mail which reflects yep you guessed it, my co pay this place is a joke. this has been my experience I'll stick with my excederin and ice therapy

Very courteous staff, smile all the time. Not sure what other reviewers are talking about. Fees are dictated by my insurance plan, not the Doctors. Best surgeons in west tennesse

Kittymom3: You sound like you have no clue as to what you are talking about. How can you compare an orthopedic doctor to a dermatologist? My mother (71) Just had double knee replacement. The staff and the Doctors & nurses have been more than friendly.

WestTn: Glad you didn't have to get surgery but I bet your condition is still the same.

The doctor was nice and did a good job. However, the office staff is rude and unprofessional. The fees are extremely high and the staff will send you weekly computerized phone calls and emails if you don't pay the balance off in full when you get the first bill. I have made payments every month of 100-200 and they are still not happy. I can't write a check for for the full amount as I am also paying off the hospital from the outrageous fee they charged for an outpatient procedure that could have easlity been done in the office. I have had other ones just like it done in the office by dermatologists. This ended up costing me $5700.00 out of pocket after insurance. Compeltely outragous amount. I could have had cosmetic surgery for the price this cost me. I would not recommend them for the procedure I had to anyone. And I feel sorry for anyone who has to deal with the office staff. Completely rude and unprofessional. Never even crack a smile when you are in the office. Terrible service by them.

Rude staff, very unorganized, ...

Rude staff, very unorganized, overpriced and drs. don't care about the patients. I went there first for a knee problem. They wanted surgery, which was expensive and with a long recovery. I went for a second and even third opinion down in Memphis and both told me therapy would do well for my condition. A year later and NO SURGERY, my knee is back to new! I would NEVER recommend West TN bone and joing clinic.
