We had storm damage from a tree falling into our house. Being new to the area, we were told by our insurance agent to call these guys. John H. Allen Company had been in business for 40+ years for a reason...they are honest, hardworking, trustworthy people that have my concerns at the top of their list. It was a total relief to have them handle my disaster from start to finish. Thank you John H. Allen Company.

This company restored my historic home to the best shape it has ever been. These guys know what they are doing when it comes to historical restoration and customer service. They do it all. If you are new to town and dont know who to go to for restoration, call these guys. Very knowledgeable.

I had flooding throughout my 2 story home, due to frozen pipes. Electrical outlets, vent fan, overhead lighting, walls, ceilings, carpets and floors were all saturated. Ceilings and walls were crumbling and bursting at the seams. None of the electrical equipment was replaced. The sinks & cabinets were left crumbling. Carpet remnants from other projects were used. Flooring was not removed, causing mold to grow, making our household sick. Toilets improperly handled when installing vinyl have leak issues, rotting my floors. I have not received a itemized invoice detailing the repairs. I repeatedly requested resolution. I was not provided with copies of my contract or warranty. My lawn was damaged. Current leaks fromdamage incuurred during repairs are adding to my utility expenses. Wallpaper was painted over. Many issues billed and paid in full for where not done at all. Poor workmanship is oblivious throughout the house. My attempts to have the problems fixed were dismissed and ignored.

The John H. Allen Construction Company was founded in June, 1974, with one employee… John H. Allen. In 1979, John H. Allen Construction Company became incorporated. In 1980, the Company added a retail sales division by opening Allen’s Custom Interiors. This new addition increased the Company’s buying power and helped to maximize profits. Over the next three years, additional employees were added and an estimator was added to our sales force. The Company now had nine employees. In 1986, the decision was made to acquire a local plumbing company that was going out of business. American Plumbing Co. became another division of John H. Allen Construction Company., Inc., and two more employees were added. The next four years John H. Allen Construction Co., Inc., Allen’s Custom Interiors, and American Plumbing Co. operated together and became a full service contracting firm.
