Provided by YP.comWhat a disappointment. NJ is famous for it's Diner's. I have eaten at many throughout the state. The Jackson Diner had the worst food of any restaurant I have ever been in. (not just diners) The silverware was dirty and there was lipstick on two of the four glasses.
We had four meals that were all bad. My salad was served on a hot plate. I ordered a hamburger. It resembled the kind you find wrapped in foil after four or five hours under a heat lamp, dried, overcooked and tasteless. My wife had eggs that must have been powdered. I had better eggs in the military 45 years ago. For those of you who have ever been in the service, you know just how bad that is. My friend had chicken soup that tasted like it was made with dishwater, and that was not even luke warm but cold. We asked the management if there was a problem in the kitchen, they said everything was normal. Even the coffee was bad. It was cold and weak.
The service was not terrible, but mediocre at best. Our server was nice, but very slow.
I have been told since my visit that it is always bad.
I would not recommend this establishment. In fact I suggest you steer clear. I wish I had read a review about this place before I went.
