Horrible excuse for a “Greek” salad. Nothing was cut up, everything was pickled over iceberg lettuce. Bathroom was 3 feet from where food was prepared. Gross

Great restaurant! Although, I completely agree with first reviewers reference to wilted lettuce. Why ruin a perfectly good gyro with soggy wilted lettuce. Should be added at end, fresh.

The food is good, but I beg the owners. Salads served with wilted, warm iceberg lettuce SUCK. Let's treat the lettuce as if it were the queen of the plate. Cold, crisp iceberg, or cold crisp romaine served on cold plates. Your restaurant's lettuce has always sucked.

While I've enjoyed Keifers food for years, the new building is simply great! Tables are more accessible and getting a gyro to go doesn't cause you to break a sweat! The atmosphere is still classically keifers and the food is still delicious!

My "have to" place to go when I'm visiting in Mississippi. It's just as good as it's ever been, which is a lot to say for a restaurant that's been in business for many years. We always have a good time there.

A local favorite with great patio dining, and laid-back atmosphere. Plus, the food is great!! Their feta cheese dressing is one of the most amazing things ever made....and the pitatilla is a must-have spicy treat. Then you have the classic gyro...I just can't say enough good stuff. It's a Jackson tradition, great for first dates and hanging with old friends alike.

Great outside area to sit and chill, good food, good beer. Its definately a local favorite.

Keifer's has been around for years & for good reason - the food and atmosphere are fantastic. There's nothing like sitting out on the deck with a cold pitcher of beer, some cottage fries, and a gyro. Go around mid-afternoon to skip the lunch crowd, try the imported olives & don't skip the marinated cukes.
