We have had excellence service at The Hobbit Place. The employees know plants and have been patient in helping us select just what we want. We were looking for a large evergreen for the front yard of our new home. The owner walked us around the lot, answered our questions, and shared advice. Once we selected a gorgeous Norfolk Pine and an arborvitae, he gave us a very reasonable price that included delivery. At our house, the guys took time with us to find just the right spot for the trees. We couldn't be happier with our experience, and we'll be going back to The Hobbit Place in the spring.

I have been a loyal customer, until now. I purchased $100 in hanging baskets...all petunias...and they are doing terribly. I called to see if they'd had reports of other customers' having issues with these plants and before I could even get the question out of my mouth I was RUDELY informed that they do not guarantee their plants once they've left the store!

I have the plants hanging in the same location as in years past and follow the same water/fertilization schedule i've always followed. I think I definately have some bad plants. I will be replacing them with plants from another nursery.

I will never return to The Hobbit Place.
