i have been going to Kimberly's for years now. She has altered my wedding dress along with my daily clothes. She is so friendly and such great customer service! The quality is phenomenal. If you're looking for a cheap seamstress, she's not for you. If you're looking for somebody that you feel hundred percent confident that the quality of work will turn out great then I highly recommend her!

I recently took an ankle sock brace to Kimberley's Tailoring and Alterations and she did a fantastic job strengthening the seam which was torn. Other tailors hesitated to take on the job, but Kimberley embraced the challenge. I would go back in a heartbeat!

Kimberly altered several dresses including a bridesmaid dress for our son's wedding in record time.

We came in for a fittingon Saturday & the dresses were ready to altered perfectly pick up within a week..

Kimberly is a talented seamstress & a pleasure to work with.

I've been very pleased with the tailoring work done by Kimberley. Kimberley always has such a wonderful positive and helpful attitude. The quality of her work is excellent and she offers a good value for dollar compared to other tailors in the area.

So I'm new to the area and was going off reviews to find someone who could do the alterations I needed on a bridesmaid dress. I found Kimberley and it seemed great, I took the dress into her, we talked about taking in the bust and the sides, bringing up the shoulders and the hem. $130 total for all of it, ok thats fine I can deal I was asking a lot to be done and she said she could have it done in a week. So I go pick up the dress today, put it on and the bust is way too big, as soon as I stop having perfect posture the shoulders fall right off (not ok for a catholic wedding). I bring this up and she just argues with me saying she'd have to cut new arm holes and it wouldn't look right. I leave, done arguing and call the bride on my way home. She says no, it should be fine she should have just taken in the bust at the sides which she was supposed to do anyway. I call her up and she starts yelling at me telling me that I'm wrong and that the dress shouldn't fit that way. Also that she never charged me to fix the bust (which we had discussed as it was too big from the beginning). I ask if she could fix it without charging me anymore because it was what I was originally told was going to happen. She says no, because she would need to re-do the arm holes it would be $50. Also she burned the dress in more then one place that I had to have steamed out by another tailor and it still didn't come out all the way.



Basically I'm very disappointed she didn't do as was asked of her and then tried to charge me again to do what should have been done in the first place. I'll never go back and never recommend her to anyone. Looks like I need to find a new tailor to fix this dress in the week that I have before the wedding...



Also she's cash only which is way annoying, not many people carry that much cash on them at any point in time. Get with the times and get a credit card machine.

I read the reviews for Kimberley's so I thought I would give her a try. I called to inquire about timeframes for alterations, prices, and forms of payment and Kimberley very short. I wanted to know a ballpark price so I knew about how much to expect to pay, and how long they would take. All my questions seem fair and reasonable and would have only required a minute of her time. Kimberley was very short and said I would have to go in for any questions to be answered. I'm sure she does a nice job but if someone can't answer a few questions about their business I'm not going to take my time to give them my money.

I got a new peacoat for Christmas and I loved it except that it was a little blousey and a bit too long. I was considering exchanging it for a smaller size when I realized there were none left at any Macy's anywhere in the country. So what I did I do? I called Kimberely. She was great! She told me to come on down and bring it in. I put it on, she took one look and knew exactly what needed to be done even before I told her what I wanted.

A week later, she called me earlier than her promise date (2 days before) and notified me it was ready. She did an awesome job and the coat now fits perfectly. So what did I do? I brought her two of my sports jackets to get the sleeves lengthened a bit. It's a no brainer! If you need anything tailored, go to Kimberely's and you"ll be impressed.

The bridesmaid dress i brought into Kimberley's was in desperate need of some fix ups. There were random bumps around the cup area, and definitely needed that smoothed out before the big day!



It was a brand new Bill Levkoff dress ordered from a Bellevue boutique. The sales reps got that area steamed pressed and looked at by their seamstress and told me, that's the best they could do, it will be the same if they ordered me a new dress.



Kimberley had a totally different take, she took a look at the inside layers of the dress and realized that there were just way too much extra materials around the cup, causing there to be wrinkles. She said it would be an easy fix, not to worry.



Everything from there was smooth sailing. She took in the dress, shortened the dress, fixed the cups and called me back in ready for pick up before the week was over. AWESOMEEEE :)

Kimberley is wonderful! I took my wedding dress in to be altered and she was reasonably priced, gave wonderful advice, and was so friendly. I bought my dress at David's Bridal and they sold me the undergarments for the dress. I put everything on, but was not happy with how everything looked. Kimberly gave me advice on the best undergarments to buy, fixed the back of my dress so it didn't look stiff and helped me figure out how to tell my maid of honor to bustle my dress. I am so glad I didn't get my dress altered at David's Bridal. I feel confident taking all my clothes to her in the future!

BEST place to bring anything that needs to be altered. Kimberly worked at Nordstrom as a seamstress for years and decided to open up her own shop. Kim not only worked on my wedding gown but a brides maid dress for a wedding I was in the week after I got married. She also worked on my sister in law's dress and did a fantastic job. I would recommend any bride or non bride to Kimberly. You can definatly trust her. Thank you for everything Kim. Trena

Kimberley did a beautiful job hemming some drapes and stitching panels together to make them easier to open and close on the drapery rod. The panels had horizontal bands which she matched up perfectly. We had a miscommunication at first and she had forgotten to stitch the panels together. She made it right that same day, and within 3 hours I had my drapes. They look great. Thank you, Kimberley. I will definitely use your services again, and I will recommend you to my friends!

I have just taken my wedding gown to Kimberley so she could turn my zipper in the back into a corset. I got pregnant and my dress didn't fit so understandably I was under plenty of stress about fitting into my dress. I called a couple different places and out of all them Kimberley sounded the friendliest so we decided to go to her. When we got to her shop we immediately felt welcomed and like we had been her customers for 10 years. She gave me a first time 20 percent discount which really helped with my budget, and gave me some really great advice for free! I just went back today to try my new corset backed gown on and it fit perfectly. She left room to grow for my belly and still made it look like I had bought it that way(The fabric matched to the T ) . She didn't mind that I wanted to try on my veil with my gown to see how I looked, she was just glad to see I was so happy with her work. Me and my fiancee were there past 6 which is when she closes, and she wasn't trying to hurry us out at all. If anything she truly wanted to spend extra time on us which made us feel special. When I gave her a tip she almost didn't take it, but I made her. She is truly a kindred soul and I would recommend her services to anyone. I have never found anyone in retail as honest and forthright as she is, she will give you more than what you pay for and at the same time warm your heart.

I took a traditional Chinese bridesmaid dress to Kimberley. She fixed a rip in the seam, took the dress in, and had it ready for pick up the next day. The quality was amazing and the speed at which she works is exceptional. A week before the wedding I took two other bridesmaid dresses in for emergency alterations. She made them fit perfectly with plenty of time to spare. I highly recommend Kimberley’s Tailoring & Alterations to anyone in need of high quality work.

I had a couple of slacks and dress shirts altered and was very happy with the customer service and results. I recommend this place to anyone who wants alterations done.
