If I could give them NO stars I would!
We had to deal with the owner Tommy Maher with a move from Long Island,NY to Atlanta area,Georgia. Worst movers EVER!!!! Charge is based on cents 2 lbs ratio. That way THEY cover themselves. If total weight is 3000 lbs ur charged 60c/lb or if weight is 4000 lbs charge is 55c/lb. My total was 3400 lbs w/ charge of $2430. Delivery date set for 8/14/15 from NY to GA. If I hadn't called this Son of a B @ 9am on 8/13/15 I wouldn't have known that the delivery was moved up to THAT day on 8/13/14. This meant I in turn had 2 hurry & notify the apartment manager mgmt of the earlier move in date & had to haul a to go to the bank & get the required money orders 4 BOTH aprtmt & that F'er. We had spoken several times w/ HIM telling me that the truck would be here btwn 3-5p. 5p came & went & eventually "I" had to call and was only able to leave a VM message, which i did demanding someone get back 2 me. Shortly " the driver" called me explaining being tied up & wldn't get to me until 8/14/15 am THE NXT DAY!!!! On 8/14 driver comes & says he's in a Semi truck a 80ft truck & it's Not possible for him to come in to the aprtmt complex due 2 truck size. WHY WAS I BEING TOLD THAT IT IS NOT UP TO ME TO FIGURE TRUCK LOGISTICS!!!! I told the driver to call back Tommy asap! Then Tommy catches an attitude and acts like its my fault that the semi cannot make it up the road to the apt complex. He then gives me two BS options: either I utilize storage, and my belongings brought BACK 2 NY @ a Another CHARGE or I Pay for them to unload to a smaller truck which meant a U HAUL. complex. So poor me the sucker had 2 turn and & rent a U HAUL truck for my things to be taken up the roadway. I Hope my hard earned money brings nothing but heart ache for this SOB!!!! & how convenient that "a U HAUL was @ the entrance of the aprtmt but that's for the review for the trifling apt management! ALSO THERE WAS DAMAGE TO SOME OF MY THINGS!!! He charged me an Additional $400 on too of the charge to move my things!! Total out of pocket was $2900!!! WAY OVER OUR AGREED PRICE!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS MAN!!!
