Provided by YPmobileMenu hard to decipher. Ordered the poboy that came on 2 slices of Texas toast, not my description of a poboy. Never asked if I wanted onions, pickles or anything else. Not many people in here. Maybe 2 tables, but about 6 tables still had leftover plates. Found bone slivers in my chopped beef. Not somewhere I'd come back to.

Provided by YPmobileOrdered sliced brisket, ribs, green beans, mac-n-cheese and peach cobbler: yeah, I shouldnt eat so much LOL
Green beans were good: Mac-n-Cheese was soggy, brisket tasted like yesterday's meat reheated and bone dry, and the ribs were just terrible could eat much of them.
Cobbler was bland and tasteless.
Avoid this place if your tastebuds are still alive. Yikes!

Provided by SuperpagesIf you would go to Fred's, order the baked potate with all the fixins, you will know what i am talking about. His meats are wonderful, place is casual, and Fred and his Family are the nicest people you could ever meet. But get the potato. Best in the state of Texas.

Provided by SuperpagesBeen looking for the holy grail of BBQ and I'm sure I found it. This place is great! Had the lunch special which was plenty of food for the bigger than average guy. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, the beef was fantastic and the sauce was excellent. Will definitely be back when in the area.
