Western Bowl

I had a couple of guests over from Canada, and decided to take them bowling. I usually go to western bowl since it is so conveniently located (very short drive). I have never had a problem the last 6 years I have been going.



We asked how much it would be to bowl for 4 people, and wanted to do the unlimited games since it seemed like the best value. We were told that they would be open to atleast midnight. ( the main reason we decided with the unlimited bowling).



We go get some drinks from the bar, that bartender was really friendly.



Around 1030pm about a 1/2 hr later, they said they were closing at 1035pm. I went to clarify with the supervisor (shari). I told her that we were told that it would close at midnight, and that we aren't even finished with the first game. Also, i stated we shouldn't have been sold the unlimited bowling. Also, that they lied about the time. We were told midnight, not 1030 pm. Shari, the supervisor, got really defensive, pretty much claimed that we were told 1030pm, and that she was standing right there when we were checked in. When in truth, she wasn't even at the counter. We were checked in with another young guy. Who was really nice, and we didn't have any problems with.



Well, i requested we be refunded and charged for two games, instead of being charged for unlimited. Reason being, we were told 12 midnight, not 1030pm. Also, we only played one game. Barely even started the second. The bucket of beers we didn't even get to finish.



Well, shari rudely denied, said we were lying about the time, and we had to be out by 11pm now, instead of 12midnight. I felt deceived, and lied to about the time. Was really disappointed with the customer service from a supervisor.



We decided to finish our second game. It wasn't really enjoyable since I had the conversation with the supervisor shari. We left, it ruined our night. We felt cheated out of time and money, and felt the service by the supervisor alone was horrible.. I would not go here again! No one should have to end there night feeling cheated, and ripped off, and rudely being called a liar. On top of that not even finished the beers we had bought.



I do not recommend this place to anyone.

I have been a regular customer of western Bowl and have no problems with the smoke.
