Went into this shop to have my micro's braids done and told them 3 times please make sure u are putting black in my hair and not mixed hair in my head they said ok after beening there for 8 hrs i was so ready to get home. Well time went by cause after u get them done u dont want to touch them cause they hurt from them braiding. As i noticed into 3 weeks after going though my hair i got up set for the money i paid them and the service they done more talkiing then braiding to me. Well i contacted the owner but spoke to daughter about what i have discovered some of my head was not micro's but larged french braids and very larged spaces and yes brown and black hair in my head "wow" was told that they offer me a discount next time but dont think its going to be next time...

Please stay away from this place!

I called and I spoke to the owner and informed her that I wanted micro braids with the deep wave hair and I was told on the phone that the price would be $160 with the hair included which was great! I arrived to the shop and was told by a worker that she has no idea why the owner would tell me that the price would be $160 and if so then she needs to come and do my hair herself because she wasn't working for $160 because she wouldn't make anything off of it. The fact that your working and feel that your not getting paid enough is your problem not mine! You should find a better paying job! At this point the owner was called and then she got on the phone and told me that she did not say the price was $160 with the hair included she said that she said $160 and up which I'm positive that's not what she said because I was calling around all morning to several shops and trying to get the best price possible, at this point I say OK I just want to get my hair done so then the lady started looking at my hair and says oh no I wouldn't touch your hair for $160 because your hair is too long and she goes on to say oh no I'm not doing it for that price at all, at this point I'm ready to walk out so the owner was called again and she actually came to the shop and said it would be $180 but we can't braid your hair all the way to the end, if you get micros then you know that you have to have your hair braided to the end because 9 times outta 10 the micro hair isn't the same texture as your real hair and after a few days it would mess up but the owner kept assuring me that it wouldn't so I said ok how much will it cost for you all to braid it to the end and they said $190 so I said OK fine let's just do it. My hair needed to be washed due to a style that was just removed and I informed the owner of that before I came and she said just go to the shop and they will wash it for free so I said ok otherwise I could have just washed my own hair at home, after the discrepancy with pricing it was time to get my hair washed and one of the workers had an attitude about washing my hair and made a statement once again about how if the owner said they would wash my hair then she should do it herself and then went on to ask me why hadn't I brought my own shampoo, OK blank stare at that point. I'm confused because you are an employee of this woman shop and all you have done was complain the whole time..finally it was time to get started on my hair it was two people at first and then one person left which was fine I understand people have obligations then another woman came in and it was a total disaster after that they were speaking in French the whole time and pulling my head whichever way because while they were talking they were using hand movements and still trying to do my hair I had to ask them to please focus on my hair and the one smart mouthed employee got smart and asked me if I didn't want them to talk? I said its not about me not wanting you to talk but do my damn hair! I was sneezed on and then one of the girls were scratching her hair and then she looked at her nail and then flicked whatever was under her nail towards my hair and then a car insurance commercial came on and then she decided to stop doing my hair to call about car insurance! Also my braids in the back were a lot larger than the ones in the front and on the sides. My advice to anyone would be to not go to this place I was very unhappy and I called the owner and told her about what happened and it seemed that she was only focused on the fact that I told her what the employees were saying about her instead of trying to make things right with me my advice to her would be to just close her shop immediately because you end up losing customers in the long run due to poor service. I would much rather like a customer to come to me and pay $190.00 every other month verses it just being a one time thing..

DO NOT GO HERE!!

I went in to get sengelese twists with my friend . They asked me how long we both wanted them i said to my bra strap she said just past her shoulders they said mine would cost 200 and hers 180 . The whole experience was bad feom then on to make a long sad story shorter, they stopped doing my hair wen i told them i was paying with my card and wouldn't continue until i went and got cash since their machine wasnt working . I walked out the door with clips ponytails and about 8 braids in my hair. The 1st lady who started my hair started at the side if my head which i found odd . For each twist she did she wanted me to hold the base of it which was irritating. I understand if yu wanted me to hold hair out of the way or something but not hold each individual twist . She finished the top half of my head in about an hour and a half which i was happy about and then she left and another lady was supposed to b coming to finish . My friends hair got started after mine and so wen the lady arrived, the one doing my friends hair told her she needed help and another woman could finish my hair .the three ladies argued about who needed help more . Wen the one lady started the back of my hair they stopped a lot to eat and converse . We arrived at the shop around 4 and didnt leave until 12 midnight .before i left tho the women were looking at my hair and holding up the twists side by side and it was obvious that the size of the twists in the front were uneven and didnt match the back . My head was so sore and i was tired and had work at 9am so we left . The next day i realized just how uneven the size of the twists were . I went back to the shop to ahow them to see if i could get them redone or money taken off . They told me a price reduction was not an option hut theyll see if the lady could redo the top because the back wasnt bad . I left my number and name and they were supposed to call . Two days later i called them and we tried to compromise on a date for me to come in . But couldnt so two days later they called and told me come wed at 4:30 they called wed at 3 and told me to come fri at 9am . I was there early so i left and went to mcdonalds down the street because no one was there wen i came back two women were in the store but not the lady who was supposed to do my hair . They told me she was otw . 35 minutes lady she arrives and looks upset that i wanted her to redo the front . She only redid the sides and clipped the stray hairs off middle twists which i believe was my real hair . I said thank you and wen i got home realized some twists were still uneven and she didnt even clip the ends of the hair that were very uneven. Im not satisified and very unhappy . I would not recommend yu go!

coupon is bogus

I too had the same EXACT experience as the last person. I too ended up paying full price not to mention they told me my style would take 4-5 hours with 2 braiders and I've been here 6 hours and I think we're half done. They told me they have had this issue with the coupon multiple times before and I'm not the only one, I don't know exactly what that was supposed to do for me but it just further confirmed they need to honor the coupon or take it off the website!

I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. I called the business owner to make an appt noting that I'd found a 10% coupon on THEIR website that I would like to use. The only specifications on the coupon was that you had to spend $100 or more to receive the discount. She told me she knew about the coupon and to come to the shop. The braiders were unprofessional and a bit rude at times. I brought in my own hair to be used for braiding and they told me my hair was "no good" and that hair was provided with the service. After they were done, I went to pay and gave the coupon in which they told me they would not honor. I reminded them that I told them about the coupon up front and they said it wasnt a problem. It became a confrontation with 4 of the braiders vs myself. They gave every excuse in the book as to why they would not honor the coupon. First they said the coupon was expired. I showed them there was no expiration date on the coupon. They told me the coupon was only for certain styles. I showed them that the coupon didnt specify a certain style, just a certain amount. They went on to say that they gave me free hair with my service to which I replied, "you give everyone free hair with their service." So, out of responses, they said i would have to talk to the owner. Keep in mind, they all began to speak french amongst each other about the situation. The owner got on the phone and I reminded her of our initial conversation. She gave every excuse not to honor the coupon and we continued to go round and round with no resolution. I finally asked her if not honoring a 10% off coupon that was provided by them would be worth risking the repeat business of a customer. Obviously it was. I paid the price without the discount and let as a very disgruntled and unsatisfied customer. I will never patronize this business again and I suggest you don't either!
