Mr. Santaroosa came out and provided an estimate for the above listed services in June. He spent 1.5 hours walking the property and providing a detailed estimate. We had a very thorough conversation to assure expectations were aligned around budget and quality of the work.



In July, when the services were rendered on the first day of the job the crew dropped off materials and stated the estimate had not included enough hours. At that point, I was asked for an additional $1400 to cover the hours. After speaking to the CEO Mr. Ketchum about the immediate price increase due to a poorly drafted estimate, I reluctantly agreed to the increase and stated this would be a “not to exceed price”.



Once the job was scheduled, the services were performed with little to no supervision. I made Mr. Santaroosa aware of this and asked for on-site supervision and assurance we were on schedule and on budget. I was asked to sign off on hours for the workers, despite not being home or there to project manage. I came home to workers on my lounge chairs around my pool with no shoes on, and furthermore the workers provided bids to neighbors under the table.



After the job was “complete” I noticed that in the front they had sealed over dirty bluestone. I asked them to come back out and wash the blue stone and then re-seal. They came back out and acid washed the bluestone, which stripped away the sealer they had applied. Instead of reapplying sealer, they left it as is.



Again, I brought this to Mr. Ketchum’ s attention and he said this would be rectified ASAP. That communication was sent to Mr. Ketchum on August 8, 2013 and I have yet to hear or see anything from Mr. Ketchum or Mr. Santaroosa’s crew despite follow-up attempts.



The quality of the product is good, however the professionalism and service provided is poor. It far outweighs the benefit of the products they use, and I would not use again for future business.
