I recently had my kitchen done by "Mike Couture" with Rug Ratts Custom Flooring and really got a terrific job done! I am very proud of my new kitchen. This project was huge and it did take about 3 months to complete, but turned out really nice and well worth the wait. Mike, the owner, is very good, maybe can be a little unorthodox with his professional outlook, but he does great work and takes his time to get it done right. I would highly recommend his services.

I hired a "professional" carpet company to complete three bedrooms, hallway and stairway. Carpet installer set time of estimating and did not come or even call with "I,m sorry..." Then carpet installer called TWO days LATER and finally came to estimate the job and gave me the "estimate document" with no step by step work description and no signature.Carpet installer told me: "I will stop by and pick up the product" He did. But he picked the right carpet and wrong carpet, did not even checked the invoice in his hands. I CALLED HIM A DAY BEFORE INSTALLATION and told him about different carpet pieces. Then he came for installation in my house TWO HOURS later (at11 AM instead of 9 AM), and installed wrong carpet piece in VERY BEGINNING!!! Did not even call to double check! When I came home I got surprised...and he told me about the ADDITIONAL money (not even any discounted, but full price) to install right carpet in the room if I will get it. So my wife left to get right carpet in rush hour traffic. Finally she came back with right carpet and we waited until 7.30 PM to complete the job. carpet installer did not ask something like: "Hey! May be it is getting late and you want me to come back and finish the job tomorrow?" But he told us THE MOST IMPORTANT: HE HAS THE CHILDREN AND HE HAS TO GO HOME.

I have never got this experience before. WHAT KIND OF SERVICE IS THIS? Finally he gave us the invoice (HOME OFFICE store form) with FULL price and even DELIVERY charge for WRONG CARPET!!!

I called him tonight in same day. We have talked about one HOUR. HE DOES NOT WANT TO ACCEPT any problems with his service. We set the meeting at 1 PM next day. He did not come and left text message at 12.55 PM about some emergency (second time for a view days). I need to set my house for sale and I can not... because his job is not finished.

This is just some portions of all story.

My advice: if you hire this guy/company, never pay ANY money before the job is TOTALLY finished. And pay to the company. (per my layer)

***I found the companies phone number in yellow pages and called... Some lady picked up the call and told me: "I have no idea about carpet company listed under this phone number!" Ha! Ha! Ha! Thank you for busines.
