I explained when the salesperson come out that I wanted j hangers for my mini barn. The quote I received was $300 more than a quote from another company because supposedly the j hangers were labor-intensive. I decided to go with Richmond exteriors because I wanted the j hangers. When the installers came out they informed me that their company does not offer j hangers but assured me that the method they used was better than using j hangers. I immediately called the manager and was told that they would give me $10 off for the inconvenience. The installers were extremely efficient extremely nice and convinced me to go ahead with the way that they wanted to install them. if it not been for the attitudes of the installers I probably would have sent them away. I'm happy with the gutters but I'm not happy with how the salesperson I believe misled me with the services they offered they were going to go ahead and just install it differently than what I discussed with the sales person without even telling me and that is not a good business practice to be in. The contract I had what a salesperson sells for a company should be what they come out to do. How do I not been here to greet the installers and ask questions they would have installed the gutters the way they wanted instead of the way it was sold to me. the only reason I gave them two stars as a company was because the installers were extremely friendly competent and efficient the way that they hung the gutters in no way I believe was labor-intensive enough to justify the difference in price but by that point I had so many projects going I just decided to let them do it.

Richmond Exteriors installed a new Roof and Gutters for me at my home in Indianapolis. They did a great job and were very affordable compared to other quotes we received. I would recommend Richmond Exteriors to anyone! Thanks

Avoid Richmond Exteriors at all costs! We continue to have significant areas of shingles fall and/or come loose from the roof they supposedly installed a couple of years ago. The first time this happened, we had Richmond come out and repair - although they were extremely reluctant to do so (in fact, when we first contacted them about the problem, they denied that we ever had been their customer!). The second time, my husband climbed up on the roof and fixed it himself. Now, we have shingles falling in multiple locations and they are demanding $750 to come out and fix what they installed improperly to begin with. Richmond earns ZERO stars.

Not happy with entire experience. They did not call to schedule the installation when they said they would. The shingles themselves were not the right color and multiple people have acknowledged that. A large bag of trash and shingles were left in my front yard when the work was completed at 10pm. The only compensation they want to offer for the shingles not being the correct color is $250. They used clear silicone on nail heads that did not cure properly and stayed white and used no silicone at all in other places that require it! If you have the option to go elsewhere, do so. I would not recommend Richmond Exteriors.
