He got into the legal battlefield after serving 8 years as a Counter Intelligence Agent during the Vietnam War, in another part of the world. He currently serves former CIA agents as President of the Association of Former Intelligence Officers, Chicago Chapter. He was then accepted into the FBI but given leave to obtain his law degree first. He graduated from the Indiana University School of law in June 1966
