Looks Can Be Deceiving!

When my cousin first mentioned this place i was a little hesitant, not a great area and looked a little run down. But i was blown away by the quality of food and service, the owner is a nice man who wants happy customers and provides quality service. We have now been eating here for family dinners for 6yrs! Every xmas eve we order $200 dollars worth of food and the owner inspects every single box and dish to make sure it is right, not to mention offers a nice discount on the big bulk orders! Give this place a try, i promise you will leave with no regrets.

Old "Grand Style" Chinese, not a buffet.

The neighborhood here isn't all that fancy, but I'd say it's worth going out of your way for it you want the older grand-style Chinese restaurant.

The dining area is larger than what the parking lot leads you to believe. So if the small parking lot in front is full, park in front of the closed business next door, which essentially could be the same parking lot. Please do not think the restaurant is over-crowded/full just because their own lot is full, so be sure to go in and check.

Decor is old grand style, very busy with lots of stuff, including a large Buddha statue. Tabletops are glass over the old style Zodiac place mats over a tablecloth.

They offer carry-out and dine-in, no buffet. Very large menu, with the "per person" group dinners, and entrees. Beer, wine, and liquor are served.

There was at least one of those large round tables with the lazy-susan in the middle.

The men's room didn't quite live up to the decor up front, but they were very busy, so I cut them some slack in the rating.

Food is served on a serving plate, not the plate you eat off of, with large serving spoons, to facilitate sharing. Rice came in a separate covered stainless steel bowl. Portion size seemed large.

The fried rice seemed Southern China/Cantonese/Hong Kong style.

I had the black (sh!take) mushrooms and vegetables entree. It was served over a ring of thin orange slices. Delicious. I ate most of the orange slices. The vegetables were very fresh, and cooked with just the right amount of crispness left in them.

The fortune cookie was also served with a couple of fresh orange slices.

Hostess and waitress were very professional, efficient and quick. A couple of the waitresses were really cute. Soda and water glasses refilled at just the right times. Papa-san worked the dining room talking to customers, and helped bus tables.

This is one of the best Chinese restrunts I have ever eating at. Awesome service and really great food.

You will be very surprised by the cleanliness and the owner is ready down to earth. I have never given a review for anything, but this place is worth the talk.

I have never eating at this location and felt disappointed always left happy.
