Oh my god, it is such an awesome store. The selection of yarns is amazing! The colors, the varieties....they have a whole room of discount yarns too. There are always people there knitting and talking which makes me feel warm and fuzzy. The only drawback to the place is the price, it's pretty expensive yarn, but it's probably the correct pricing and I'm probably just too frugal. It's more expensive then Michaels, that's all. But if you're a yarn lover, it is way better then Michaels. Everything, from the atmosphere to the smell is wonderful. Be careful when you go in not to spend too much money.

I have been spoiled by excellent New England knit shops and have often mourned the toll on my knitting my move to the midwest has taken. I recently found Mass Ave Knit Shop and was THRILLED. They have an excellent selection of yarns, needles, patterns and buttons as well as LOTS of knitted samples. My partner has had to physically restrain me from visiting more than once weekly since I found them. GO! GO NOW!
