If you ever served in the Army youll know how difficult, if not impossible, it is to obtain the rank of Sergeant Major so it was super important that the cake be done right. I ordered 100 cupcakes shaped in the Sergeant Major rank for a promotion ceremony for a truly deserving Master Sergeant who was getting promoted. I contacted the bakery department at the Fox Road location (because I think they have the best bakers) and spoke with Ms Laura Pilquett, the master baker. I checked on the cupcakes on Sunday and to my dismay (and possibly me not explaining the color needed) the color was off but this wonderful baker tried to make it right by custom blending another color while I watched. Sadly, we could not get the color right so I asked for a totally different color and she nailed it! The cake was a huge hit with the military crowd and also the civilians that attended and I was happy to tell them where the cake came from MARSH on Fox Road!
