This evening I went to the this Long John Silvers and made the purchase of 2 fish and more meals for myself and my sister.
On the way home I stopped at my sister house and realized after an inspection of my bag of fish that the fish was spoiled. Being a food service employee and working with the public, we are trained to look for contaminated food.
My sister and I returned to the resturante to advise the acting manager/supervisor in charge of the tainted fish. The woman refused to listen to me and refused to return my money. Told me to come back tomorrow and take it up with the Mgr. When I explained that I worked in the a.m. she told me too bad, get out of my store. I left the nasty spoiled fish and took my receipt to show proof of my purchase. Not only am I warning customers to beware of tainted spoiled fish and poor service, but I am also reporting this incident to the Marion Co Board of Health.
