not worth it

the restaurant itself is ok. jukeboxes at all the tables so you can pick what to play. The food was par at best. The milkshake and fries were good. The burger was overcooked and kinda dry(which is surprising since I asked for the special sauce on the side and she put it on the burger). The Service was horrible which is why I will never go back again. The waitress came to our table to get our drink orders. it took about 8 mins to get the milkshake. she then took our order. we waited about 30 mins if not more waiting for the food. during this time the waitress did not come to our table . she did not check on us at all. she came back with the food. 15 minutes later she came back to check on us. by this time we had eaten all of our fries which the meal came with unlimited. we asked for more fries and she only brought one order. she later returned with the check. At this point I was ready to go. I had my burger boxed and had my payment out. (I had started to put my card in the book before she walked away but yet she left without taking it) we then waited as we watched her talk with this guy that she obviously knew. My girlfriend got so tired of waiting she yelled for a different waitress to take our card so we could pay and leave. I usually give great tips and ive never not given a tip but she got nothing. The whole experience was horrible and not worth what I paid at all. would be zero stars if possible.

If You Remember 50's Diners...

...this place has a lot of authenticity. I had a burger and fries. Made to order, hot fresh and tasty. The fries were crisp.

Ate at lunch, a little before noon. Seated right away, attentive service. Took a little longer to get the food than anticipated, but that was due to food being made to order. Fries were served about 3 minutes before burger (?).

Fun place, but it's burgers/fries/shakes and the like. Had juke boxes with nickel-a-play. Server made a ketchup smiley face in a little bowl when the fries were served.

Lunch (with water to drink) was $8 and change, so not cheap.
