Jason Blocksom, M.D., is a pediatric plastic surgeon and director of the cleft palate and craniofacial surgery team at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at St.Vincent. He graduated from Indiana University, Bloomington and Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Blocksom completed his surgical residency at Wayne State University at the Detroit Medical Center. He completed fellowships in plastic surgery at Indiana University Medical Center and in craniofacial and pediatric plastic surgery at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. Outside of work, he enjoys triathlons (two time Ironman Wisconsin finisher) and coaching youth soccer.Dr. Blocksom's special medical interests include: Craniofacial anomalies such as craniosynostosis; cleft lip and palate, vascular malformations and hemangiomas; deformities of the ear and nose; plagiocephaly; congenital hand anomalies such as polydactyly and syndactyly; and plastic surgery for skin lesions such as moles and cysts.
