I would give zero stars if I could. I work at a senior living community and my staff member called the police when there was an accident with 6 seniors on the bus. That was over an hour ago and they are still waiting there. Meanwhile, she just saw two police officers drive by without their lights on. The dispatcher said to call 911 if someone gets stabbed or shot, even though they are on their way. Pitiful! Don't act like you care, while 6 elderly people are waiting for you to finish doing nothing (as you drive by without your lights on.) This was at St. Pauls and Peter Cathedral downtown.

Called about neighbor firing off his gun in his backyard on new years in a small residential area. Could detail the gun and seen him do it. IMPD ignored the issue. No wonder murder is so high here. Lived here for 20 years now and they $uck. Glad my kids weren't hit. Thanks for nothing. Guess the Doughnut shops were not closed yet. Freaking worthless cops.

I called officers out to E Berwyn st.today around 4pm, to protect and serve and they did none of the above. The officer never informed me of my rights, he just assumed I knew them.He also made the statement that I was the reason I was in my domestic violence situations. If you are ever being abused by a man, I pray you do not get this cop or his sidekick(no help) because your results will be death. I have never experienced domestic violence before, but dealing with this officer helps me understand why most women remain silent.

Complete bs. I attempted to contact them to assist me with a animal control issue over a puppy mill. When she answers she said "Poooliceeee disspatchh.." In a I hate my job annoying tone. I explained I had been trying to call animal control for 20 mins and they werent picking up and I couldn't leave a msg for a return phone call due to my out of state number, she doesnt say a word and transfers me back to animal control ..they never pick up yet again, then I call the police dispatch dept back 3 times and NOONE answers.... WOW.
