Indiana Legal Services is a nonprofit law firm that provides free civil legal assistance to low-income people and senior citizens throughout the state of Indiana. Established in 1966, the firm handles matters associated with domestic violence, consumer fraud, medical malpractice, employment discrimination, and professional and health care liability. It also provides assistance for child custody, separation agreements, wrongful termination, medical negligence, police misconduct, and consumer and senior law issues. In addition, the firm supports several legal aid societies and pro bono programs. Indiana Legal Services has branch locations in various cities, including Indianapolis, Columbus, Evansville, Fort Wayne and Gary, Ind.
