HORRIBLE SERVICE. RUDE MANAGEMENT. They LIE about giving your money back and then talk down to you.

They told me I could put a deposit on a mattress and then if I changed my mind then I could have my deposit back. Went back 3 days later and asked for my money back and was told I would have it back in my account in 10-14 days. THEN I got a call from a manager telling me they do do refunds and I would not be getting my money back. Told me at the end that he would speak to the sales person who Assured me I was getting a refund and then would call me back. I amber heard from him. Called back today (4 weeks later) and was spoken to extremely rudely by a manager. I was told I wouldn’t be getting my money back even though the sales person swiped my card for said refund. I was then questioned about why I would “buy” it if I didn’t want it. It’s a DEPOSIT for a reason. I was promised a refund and the rude management refuses to give me my money.

Furniture For Less, The War is ON!

I am a girl, I am Asian, it is in my DNA to minimize conflicts in life. Growing up in a family with both parents work for government for their entire life, I have been taught to be as diplomatic as possible, no matter who I am dealing with, good or evil. But today is different, today, I declare war, a war between me, a girl who just moved to Indianapolis vs. a giant local furniture store- Furniture for Less. And this is why: August 19th, I visited your store again and made the purchasing decision. I paid the full amount upfront (thousands of dollars) for the following items: A new mattress (memory foam), A checkered (2 tones) bedroom suite, including a queen platform bed, a nightstand, a dresser and a mirror, A white leather sofa. confirmed, and double confirmed with your sales guy the accuracy of the above items,He promised to deliver everything by EOD August, 25th.August 25th, you delivered the items, every single piece of the delivered furniture was wrong. The bedroom suite is in a solid black color instead of a 2 tone checkered color; the bed is a traditional bed instead of a platform bed, which requires a box spring; the sofa was not even delivered because it will be delayed and on top of everything, you delivered a dirty floor sample mattress with lots of stains on it, so stained that i don’t even know i should call it a white mattress. I called your store, your store manager picked up and she was very rude and told me there is nothing you can do. The delivery guy was nice, he wanted to leave the dirty mattress to me so at least i will have something to sleep on. Your store manager even refused that and said the only way she could leave the mattress to me is I pay again. The delivery guy shook his head, left the mattress to me anyway, apologized and left.August 26th, I called your store twice, nobody picked up. I drove to your headquarters in Castleton and talked to the store manager. This time, getting worse. The manager told me the color scheme was picked by me and his salesperson together. It was a mistake, but it is my purchasing decision so it is my fault. My only option is to accept what has been offered and call it a day. I requested to talk to senior manager. He refused and sent me off by promising he will call me back by 1pm EST August, 27th, 2012.August 27th, i waited and waited, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm..........Finally, he called me backed at 6:37pm. He refused to admit you made a mistake and unwilling to correct your behavior. He informed me that my only option is to take what I have been delivered, and that’s end of the story.owards the end of conversation, I told him I might want to file a credit card dispute if they keep avoid working with me. And the manager said, and I quoted: “Cynthia. Go ahead and try. The credit card company has to talk to me first.” The tone of his voice was almost mocking, and I got really upset.Throughout this whole process, the salesperson who sold me the furniture totally disappeared on me and refused to talk to me. The manager has been very rude and refused to say sorry.
As a customer, I feel I have been ignored and treated poorly in this situation.As a newbie to the city, facing an empty apartment and sleeping on a dirty mattress for many nights, I never feel this homeless and frustrated in my life.believe, merchant should have decent business behavior and treat customers properly. And if they refuse to do so, consumers like me deserve at least the right to know.For the first time in my adult life, I decided to stop being nice and speak up. I am ready to file a dispute and do whatever I can to seek justice. If that means I will suffer financially, have to sacrifice my vacations and personal time or even go to court with you guys, LET IT BE. I want people like me to learn my lesson and make sound purchasing decisions. Furniture for less, I am ready for the war, and I will fight to the end!

I now understand why people say shop locally..I was visiting my daughter that lives in Indy and I live in Illinois about 1-1 1/2 hours away and we saw this store and decided to stop in; which was the biggest mistake ever!!! To make a long story short, I saw some furniture that I liked. Saleperson Darin Wimsatt told me it was available for purchase. I made arrangements for pickup and bought this merchandise on the spot. This store had no problem taking my money for the item I wanted, but failed to have it ready for pickup. They took my money and then they started spinning me about it was not available today, but it's on a truck and it will take a couple days to come. Two days passed, no merchandise!! Really?? Well I found out through other sources that the item was on back ordered for 3 weeks; so I mentioned it to Darin and he immediately started to making up excuses, getting mad at me for calling him out about this sale,etc.. I was so mad, because I was expecting this item for the holidays (Thanksgivings) and never got it, so I called to complain to his general manager and to inform them both that I wanted a refund asap!!! This business has been spinning me ever since I told them that I wanted them to refund my MONEY!! Never again!!! Ok, they said that it would take 10-14 business days, but time has passed and I have not received a dime.. I have sent my daughter that lives there twice and they continue to spin her too, Really!!! Is this Furniture for Less Store so hard up for money that they will lie to make a sale???

Sale# 12776. I had previously purchased a formal dining room table and chairs with the assistance of Dustin K., who was very helpful. As I try to remain loyal to those who do their job well, I told Dustin that I would be back in the future. Sure enough, I stopped in to get a matching server for the dining room, which he got me a great deal on and delivery was set up shortly after. Everything has resulted in a pleasant shopping experience and I have told several people about how well I've been taken care of. I am now looking to come in for yet another purchase!

I recently bought some furniture from here. There was some confusion on the delivery date but Jeremia figured out the problem and fixed it. I had my furniture within a few days. He was very helpful and friendly.

The futon mattress i purchased has been soaked in a pesticide it smell horrible, they would not refund my money, wile in the sotre I seen why, they have lots of bugs coming out of there furniture and the mattresses on the walls.

Indiana law does not support consumer rights for refunds, stay away from this place if the bugs dont make you sick the insecticide they are spraying there mattresses and furniture will

I have to agree with the last ...

I have to agree with the last review of 1 star. I'd give them negative stars if I could. Absolutely terrible customer service. I ordered a living room set sometime around the middle of April. When we ordered we were told the furniture would be on the 4/30 truck and be delivered no later than the middle of May. It is now closing in on the end of June and still no furniture. In the 10 weeks since ordering I have called the store and warehouse approx 25 times. This may sound excessive however I wouldn't have to call so many times if I actually got a call back. Out of those 25 calls, I've received 3 callbacks....3! It is impossible to get a hold of anyone including a manager. I wanted to purchase another piece of furniture there when I placed my first order but decided to hold off. I'm glad I did and do not plan on doing any more business with them. Stay away!

This place has very poor custo...

This place has very poor customer service! I ordered and paid for my furniture on a Friday, was told they would have my furniture in about 48 hours and someone would call me, well a week goes by, and still no call, so I call them and first off, they were rude (also kinda rude when we ordered), didn't have a CLUE when my furniture would be in and kept putting me on hold and telling me they would call me back, and NEVER did, so I had to keep calling them back. So I spent $1200 in there and couldn't even get a courtesy call back not even when they said they would call me right back. THEN when we finally DID get the couch and rug (didn't get ottoman) they gave us a loveseat and a chaise and it was supposed to be a sectional couch (part of it being a chaise)...so WE had to take it back up there to exchange for the right thing. Still no call on the ottoman and it has been almost 3 weeks, and they still have absolutely NO CLUE when it will be in. AND to top it all off the leather underneath the couch close to the front is gashed like it had been hit on something, and the velcro to keep the cusions from sliding off the leather is gone on one side! So when I called up there to ask them about it (a week later to try to calm down about the situation) they gave me what was supposed to be the delivery manager's number and said he would take care of it..I called and it's a non working number, so I call BACK up to the furniture store which feels like the 100th time and they should know my full name and all of my kid's name and family member's dogs names by now and they give me another number which I have left 2 messages on the voicemail now over the past two days and still no response! GRRR, as I am typing this I am getting more and more frustrated and think I might just call their corporate office as this is unacceptable and POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
