One of the best Chinese buffets in the area. Large variety of tastes and treats. Five great soups to choose from. I'm from Chicago and know good Asian food and this is good. I've held dinners there for a large group and those who like Chinese food were pleased with the variety etc., Don't accept any other reviews unless you've eaten there yourself. Well worth the price...

2 years ago I & wife went there for my birthday dinner and the experience was so absolutely disgusting that I would never be caught dead in such a disgusting place ever again. Its shocking that its still open. I had suggested to my wife for my birthday and the place totally put me to shame. It was the most awful seafood stench I ever experienced suggesting poor refrigeration and suspicion they were cheap, greedy and irresponsible enough to buy spoilt food, cook it and serve with the rotten smell. When I reported it to the management their attitude was just as smelly, stinky and so rude it was like dealing with mafia crooks. I was so sickened and lost appetite for 2 days. Even friends and co-workers felt sickened when they heard about our horrible experience. PLEASE PEOPLE DON'T GO TO THAT PLACE. FILTH IS WHAT I CALL THEM: BOTH THE PLACE AND THE PEOPLE ARE FILTH.

When you first approach Formos...

When you first approach Formosa Seafood Buffet your not sure what to expect. It sits behind the Denny's in Castleton. It is in the old building that use to sport the seasonal Halloween shop. So it looks pretty cruddy on the outside. When you open the doors though, its magical. Your stepping into a new exotic land. A land filled with a large indoor fountain, beautiful artwork, and unique seating. The waiter we had was very friendly and our drinks never hit bottom. The food was tasty. We went for lunch so no crab legs at lunch :( *sad panda. So, if your looking for Crab Legs you have to go at dinner. However everything else was amazing. My kids loved it and there was plenty there for kids to choose from. There was also a chocolate fountain well equipped with a variety of items for dipping...Strawberries, Marshamallows, and SO MUCH MORE. I loved it and I could have eaten a dozen of the chocolate covered strawberries. Delicious. It is a nice selection of food and I can not wait to go back and experience dinner.
