Since coming to the Pain Management Center, I feel like I got my life back. Yes, I still have pain, but it doesn't prevent me from being able to participate in my grand kids lives anymore! Dr Sandy and Dr K are both compassionate toward their patients. My pain level has been closely monitored and meds have been adjusted when needed.

I should’ve gone to Dr. Kowlowitz years ago. I’ve bounced around from doctor to doctor for the past 10 years and they all kept putting me on pain meds. I really didn’t want to be on them for the rest of my life. And then I found the Center and Dr. K. We talked over different options and he recommended a spinal cord stimulator. I fought him on this for a while, instead doing injections, PT, etc., but nothing really helped. So I finally caved and did the implant and wish I had done it years ago. I’m still on a little bit of pain meds, but nothing like I was before.

Up until about 2008, I had been such an active person. But then I fell at my house one day and did something to my back. I went to my regular doctor for a while before she recommended Dr. K at the Center. I see how people say he doesn't have the best bedside manner sometimes. While that may be true, I realize he is a pro at what he does -- even if he doesn't communicate it the best always. He's always been straight with me about my treatment options -- and really giving me options, which I appreciate. After receiving an injection and a few weeks of physical therapy, I'm back to moving around like I used to. I would recommend the Center to my friends and family. In fact, I already have.
