Dr. Kourany is board certified in cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology and specializes in complex coronary interventions, including chronic total occlusion (CTO) percutaneous intervention (PCI). He serves as the director of the St. Vincent Heart Center of Indiana Catheterization Laboratory, 86th Street campus, and chairman of the Acute Coronary Syndrome, Cardiac Catheterization, and Percutaneous Coronary Intervention Process Improvement Committee. He earned a medical degree and completed his internal medicine residency at Indiana University School of Medicine. He was honored to serve as chief medical resident at the Roudebush VA Medical Center, which is also affiliated with Indiana University. His cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowships were completed at The Krannert Institute of Cardiology at Indiana University
