Dr. Harry is awesome. My neck pain and severe headaches have gone, sleep problem has been solved as well. I enjoy the treatment every time with the relax music. Highly recommend Dr. Harry for people who have same issue like neck or low back pain, headaches or sleep problems.

I first came to see Dr. Harry after losing my taste and smell from Covid. After just a couple treatments from him, I have turned a corner. He also helped treat some liver issues I was having, as well as overall fatigue. He was very knowledgeable on the many ways our body communicates to other areas of our bodies. It’s absolutely fascinating! Definitely give him a visit for a deep dive into overall wellness. He truly seeks to heal. His staff is so kind as well

I highly recommend Dr.Shao and the use of acupuncture to treat fertility issues. I conceived my first child quickly, without intervention; he went to term and is now a healthy 2 year old. When we tried to get pregnant again it took 5 months, and that pregnancy ended in miscarriage after 8 weeks. After the miscarriage, I diligently charted my waking temperatures and cervical fluid. I found that although my husband and I were timing intercourse correctly, my luteal phase (the time between ovulation and the start of the next period) was too short to allow a fertilized egg to implant. Personally, I did not want to go down the "fertility treatment" path, so I tried acupuncture.

Dr. Shao has a wonderful, calming bedside manner. he looks at whole-body wellness while focusing on the individual's issues. To help me, she gave me a one hour acupuncture session every week, combined with herbal pills and patches for when I am at home. he also gave me advice on how to "warm up" my reproductive area by what I drink. (he calls the things you do out of the acupuncture office "homework.") From the beginning she tried to set the correct expectation that it may take 2 or 3 months for my body to change, but within my first month of treatment I was pregnant! Including our time prior to the miscarriage, we had been trying for about 10 months.

I am still seeing Dr. Shao monthly while in my first trimester (and possibly beyond) to try to keep everything balanced for the baby

I believe in and am alive because of alternative medicine but as with so many things, it is only the very few that have the extraordinary gifts Dr. Harry Shao has. One feels at ease immediately as he is warm and encouraging but then once he examines medically, he knows all that ails and more. Be patient as alternatives take longer but unlike a pill or surgery, this work goes to the cause of the problem with no side effects. And acupuncture and chiropractic go together wonderfully. Dr Shao does both. I cannot say enough.

My neck turns so I can look both ways while driving. My stomach is reduced and I can breath much better. Believe it or not I can breath though my nose, haven't been able to in years. Three visits made me feel great. Loved it.

Dr. Shao has become a miracle maker for me in my life. I went to see him because I was having terrible pain and swelling in my knees. The traditional doctor that I had been seeing told me that I would have to probably take anti-inflammatory medicine for the rest of my life or have both of my knees replaced. At my first appointment on March 26, 2013, Dr. Shao brought me amazing relief to my very painful swollen knees. He also worked on my total body health. It is just amazing I am not using any kind of medicine to control my knee pain. I am sleeping much better, and my spirits are improving. I look forward to seeing Dr. Shao and his Staff. I have neck pain for long time. But Dr. Shao fix it. I keep see Dr. Shao every month to do manual therapy

I am a 60 year old man, who at 30 years old was stricken with muscle pain and loss of extension in my hands, arms legs and feet. I have been to may doctors, paid a lot of money and time. I heard about acupuncture ears ago but was skeptical. A lady suggested this nice doctor who is very knowledgeable in Chinese medicine and acupuncture. She was right, after few treatments I felt less pain and more range in my feet, legs and arms. Now after 6 treatments, I am convinced and pleased to write and tell others that acupuncture works.

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Shao as I was desperate to find an answer to my sleeping problems. I found him to be a very caring and professional person. I was surprised how much my general energy level improved after the first appointment and continued to improve through subsequent appointments. While working on my sleep issues, he has treated my hip pain through cupping. I haven't known such relief for a long time. Exercising is more comfortable for me and I have found it easier to lose weight. The quality of my sleep has improved tremendously. His treatment has been a true blessing for me and I wished I would have seen his years ago.

I wanted to send Dr.Shao a note of thanks for helping me. I have had pain in my leg for over six months from a pinched nerve in my back. I have been to physical therapy, visited a surgeon. Acupuncture is the first relief from pain I have had. I have reduced my ibuprofen intake by 2/3! After only three visits I found that pain did not wake me up daily. I started going to Dr. Harry in August of 2013. The first thing that told me this was different than going to see a regular doctor was the fact that he actually talked to me for more than 2 minutes before rushing to tell me what pill I needed to take, or what stretch I needed to do, then scribble it down and leave. Most doctors focus on the surface issue, not the real CAUSE. I am a prime example of this; I was told I had plantar fasciitis after a 30 second scan. This was completely wrong. Dr. Harry on the other hand spent almost 45 minutes with me on my initial visit. He listened to how I was feeling, what other doctors had told me, and then proceeded to ask more questions. He wasn’t in a rush which made the appointment meaningful and engaging. After our discussion, he talked to me about trigger points and proceeded to touch three that were blocked by scar tissue on me. It was amazing! The issue was not plantar fasciitis at all, which I had been doing treatments on for 5 months. After the first acupuncture session, I felt results and pain subsiding. With every session, the pain would dissipate a bit more until it was gone. I highly recommend giving acupuncture a try. It addresses the issue physically and mentally, and is quite relaxing.

I was 21 when I carried a large box into the back seat of my car. On and off for the past 20 years, I’ve dealt with lower back pain. When I was younger, the pain would come and go away with rest. However, for the past 5 years, the frequency of aggravating my lower back has increased. It seems the most trivial bending over can cause days of painful spasms. A cocktail of anti-inflammatory, muscle relaxant, and pain killer usually does the trick, but I’m also loopy for about 5 days. I finally thought I’d give acupuncture a try.

Recently, I met Harry and learned that he is a Chiropractic Doctor and acupuncturist. Harry was very thorough in his diagnostic examination. I felt that he was skillful and experienced, and he explained his findings with detail. It was very comfortable interacting with Harry as he was locating scar tissue. Harry’s expertise in both chiropractic and acupuncture is a perfect combination. He was deliberate with his hands as he walked me through what he was doing, while continually checking for understanding.

I saw Harry twice a week receiving a combination of acupuncture and adjustments. In a short 3 weeks, he had addressed the scar tissue that was causing my lower back muscles to spasm. The scar tissues that was extremely tender during my initial visit were now painless. My full range of motion is back, and I am on my way to strengthening my core to continue long term prevention of re-injury. I have confidence in my daily activities and don’t feel the need to take it easy on the tennis court. Before, I was being careful all the time, but now, I feel normal again. Most importantly, my back pain issue was treated without any painkillers or other drugs that kept me from functioning in my daily life.

Seldom do I write testimonials, but I feel so strongly that Harry can help many more people with similar back conditions. He gets to the root of the problem whereas drugs give temporary relief of the symptoms. Harry has practiced for years, and his combination treatment of both chiropractic care and acupuncture really do work. JJ

I have been to many different Chiropractors in my life, some more thorough than others. When I started seeing Dr. Shao, I realized what a good Chiropractor should being doing to help me. He is very good , making sure the whole body is adjusted, not just the back!
