Was supposed to have unlimited mileage as stated on my hotwire reservation and they were going to charge me $24/day extra when I only paid $23/day for my car. When I asked them to prove to me it said this on Hotwire, what they showed me I couldn't find ANYWHERE on the website on my own when I came home, I even made another reservation and read all the small print. The vehicle we got we couldn't move the seat back angle to make it comfortable but didn't notice until about 4 hours into our trip away from Indianapolis. It also had 3 puncture holes in the windshield I didn't notice until I got it home just below the line of sight when looking out the window and I'm a tall person, if it had been someone shorter I'm sure it would have been in their line of sight. When I returned the vehicle the guy who checked me in continued to tell me I have to pay extra for mileage when taken out of surrounding states. When I told him I did he proceded to tell me I should have rented from their local facility as it would have been cheaper with the fees. Was just VERY DISAPPOINTED in this rental all around. Will NOT be using this company again. Will go with Budget or Enterprise even if I have to pay a bit more for the rental!!!
