Founded in 1991, Deer Run Elementary School enrolls more than 500 students in kindergarten through grade five. Its staff includes teachers, instructional assistants and custodians. The school operates a student council, chess club and parent-teacher association. Deer Run Elementary School also has a library, media center, computer laboratory, playground and community room. In addition, it organizes musical programs and science fair. The school also offers transportation and food services.
