Decatur Middle School enrolls more than 900 students and offers classes in grades seven and eight. The school s curriculum includes various subjects, such as language arts, math, science and technology, social studies, health education, English, computer science, music, physical education, and arts and crafts. It also provides various special education programs for students with special needs. The school offers various sports programs, including baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, football, golf, soccer, swimming, softball, tennis, wrestling and volleyball. It organizes various student clubs and activities, such as chess club, community service club, drama club, ecology club, space club, spell bowl, student council and yearbook. Located in Indianapolis, the school is part of the Metropolitan School District of Decatur Township.

Yes my children just moved here and I just saw your school has an F rating and I have been told by people who speak so highly of your school and too learn this, this is terrible and very disappointing if I knew this I would have moved elsewhere sad:-(
