Getting Worse

I have been donating at this center for over a year, and I must say, this place has gone downhill. When told to move from the bed that I sat in, to one under the air conditioning, I didn't want to, because it's much colder in that area. Two of the staff members glared at me. They are more worried about their conversations with each other, rather than getting people stuck. If I could submit a picture at this very second (14:05 on sept. 30) you would see 8 staff members hanging out in the middle of the room. They are not there to work, they are here for the money. They lost sanity (amber, one of the best phlebotomist in central Indiana.)

An okay place to donate, but not great. No worries about overall cleanliness and equipment upkeep. The staff up front behind the counter and in the screening booths are professional and courteous. However the staff back on the donor floor tend to conduct themselves as if they're in the breakroom. At times while they're setting up and/or sticking you, their attention seems to be divided between the outloud conversations with their coworkers across the room and the person laying in the bed, which can be a little unsettling. I'm not defining "professionalism" to mean always being quiet, we all need to good relationships at our respective jobs to make them worth coming back to day after day. I'm happy to see the staff getting along, and I'm in no way implying that they're not doing their job, but I would also appreciate it if they could pause their conversation for those few minutes to give the PERSON donating their undivided attention as a courtesy (and for their own peace of mind).

I have been coming to this location for about two weeks now and its the most getto, unprofessional place I have donated at. The staff in the front is professional but the crew in the back is very non professional. They play around a lot and talk to other co workers out loud. If this branch was not the closest to my house, then I would find another location. This particular branch should set some rules for there employees and how they should present them selves in the work place. Thank you.
