Beck's is one of the best auto repair companies in Indy

We have taken our autos to Beck's for nearly 25 years and have only had one instance where we had results that were less than desireable. In that instance, they were prompt in replacing our muffler with a more expensive one and did not charge us any extra for parts or labor.

We will continue to do business with Beck's and recommend them to others becuase they do great work and are honest and reliable and reasonably priced.

Beck's gets a five-star review from us!

Overpriced and far from honest...

Overpriced and far from honest.

We took our vehicle in for a few maintenance and repair issues. We used them, because my husband had been told they would give us a good and fair price since his work referred customers to them. Well, first of all we found out later even with the "discount" they said they were giving us, we still paid way too much. I'm so glad we didn't do our brakes with them, because we would have paid about $150 more if we had done them there than where we went. Yes, we did get the same quality of parts and warranty. It is also with a reputable company. What really upset me was when my husband picked up the car after sitting in the waiting room for hours longer than they said it would take with our newborn daughter in the middle of winter, he goes to leave and tries to roll the window up that was down, and it wouldn't work. He had to pick me up from an appointment, so he couldn't stay right then, but they took note of the window. When he took the car back, they said it wasn't their fault, and that just happens to the windows. Isn't that one of the reasons why a company has insurance?? I personally think someone forced the window down after locking the keys in the car, but the "owner" said it happens when it gets cold. I thought insurance covered acts of nature. He said he would give us that "deal" and just charge us for the part which would be $300. Are you kidding me? The window worked when we left the car with you, so it should have worked when we picked it up. We just dropped $600 with this shop and more at another shop for brakes. We got to spend much of our Indiana winter with a window that would not stay up. Needless to say we will not be returning there, and my husband's company refers their customers to another shop now for repairs.
