The Hanover group owns this property. They are people who only care about money. When Oakhurst had no manager, which was quite often, people had to go to Avon Lakes to talk to the manager there. Some of these people were elderly, who couldn't drive and lived on a very fixed income. They are not willing to work with you on anything, all they want is $$$. Stay far away!

This is a list of problems ive hade with this unit and its managment.





1--bug problem made me fix it. they were here upon move in,



2--huge water leak. flooded my entire livingroom. took about a week to come out and



fix



3--all fossets and the shower head were clogged with calcium diposite.made me fix it



4--repair guy broke underside of my sink while working on water leak the 1st week we



moved in. was broken from 10/22/11-1/14/12



5--fridge died took a week to replace

6--fridge died again took a week to replace

7--most recent fridge has broken shelves still not replaced



8--mice problem they made me fix it. the mice were here on move in. they had been



living under the house and when the maintanace guy broke the underside of the sink



they got into the house through the hole



9--electricicty broke in over half the house includeing the kitchen livingroom and my



room. took from 12/14/11-1/3/12 to get them to come fix it. only took them ten minutes



to fix it.



10--oven is stuck on cleaning mode and is missing a dial.there is straw and leaves



behind the oven where animals were nesting. still not fixed.



11--furnice stopped woking on 1/15/12. when i looked at it it was held together with



scrap metal, duct tape, and tin foil. never got replaced.



12--found huge water leak under house on 3/7/12 still not fixed. i suspect its been



there since i moved in on 10/15/11 because ive noticed the standing water under the



home since then. loseing about 2 gallons a minute or 2880 gallons a day.



13--sewer system never hooked up.4 months of waste build up.10/15/11-2/22/12



14--the sewer line they installed on 2/22/12 was clogged.toilet, bath tub, and sinks



wont drain. still not fixed.

Renting there less than a month and septic has been backing up into bathtub and sinks from the beginning! Management has yet to fix this! Lady in office is very rude and poor customer service. Unsafe living conditions!!!

My husband and I own our home and contacted this community with questions concerning the community. The man that manages the property refused to answer our questions because we asked why he didn't return our phone calls, then he hung up on us. With a landlord like that who needs enemies! The property it self could be better maintained and the customer service is non-existant! Good luck to any one who chooses to live in this community.
